Agreed with the above. Java and JavaScript are entirely separate things.

Java just released a patch containing 51 fixes, all but one of which can be exploited remotely. In non-tech speak that means it's a liability to have on your computer and now you've booked your tickets get rid of it!

The ticketing site almost 100% certainly needed JavaScript enabled, it is a much much lower risk, and is updated by your browser the whole time.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker I've been Money Tipped!
I have been trying to do a survey on swagbucks, which wants me to watch a movie clip. Its telling me I've not got Java, I went to java.com, first I was told java was corrupt, so uninstalled old java versions and am trying a re-install, for about the 5th time, but the green bar seems to just go half way and stall. I'm stuck as for what to do.

Can anyone please help me with this? I have looked on my system and Java 7 is there in my programme, but I have just tried another survey and its telling me I don't have Java. What can I do? Thanks.

Don't have Java or JavaScript? It really is uncommon to terror Java these days. Try as different browser, may be that there's a BHO/extension/setting which means it'll work on one and not another. Survey companies are not terribly standards compliant from experience, not technical people.
