Congrats on the stone lost, that is fantastic :T:T

Great news on the new appliances too, probably more energy efficient as well so cheaper on the electric. :D

    What's body magic? 15 mins, 3 times a week, I reckon I could manage that :D
    Back on the DFW Wagon:

    CC - £3,300 on 0% til 04/2020
    CC - £4,500 on 0% til 02/2019
    Loan - £12,063.84 as at 4/1/18
  • definitely more energy efficient as I checked that before I bought. I am loving the both of them so far. Washing is nearly dry when I bring it out and lovely and clean. I also love having the extra shelf in my fridge as I dispensed with the ice box. I can actually see what I have now. All my fruit is beautifully chopped and in tubs for easy access and I didn't have room for that before. I am happy with it all.

Body magic is a gradual introduction to exercise. Starts off as 4 weeks ( I think) of 15 mins exercise 3 times per week. I have a walk arranged tomorrow night with my friend so I'll make a start on that. You can build it up until you are platinum. If I make it to gold I'll be more than happy :rotfl:

Well done on a stone lost thats fab , i love getting new washing machines im always sure the wash smells better and gets cleaner than old machines , good luck on next stone to come of
  • Thanks Kitty. I'm trying very hard to get through this. I think the stopping eating sweets, chocolate, cakes and biscuits before starting has really helped. I am so used to not eating them now that I rarely think about it. The only sweet thing I eat are the rocky road bars from slimming world. I have hopefully broken another addiction. Sounds very dramatic calling my sweet eating an addiction but I'm positive that's what it was. Hopefully I will never go back to it. Is anyone else still off of the sweet things?

Gorgeous day here so I have loads of washing to get out on the line again. Need to get out in the garden today and get some weeding done. DS cut the grass but I have a long strip up the back and up the side of the garden that is just wild so I may have a go at that today. The strimmer didn't reach there so DS has left it last few times. I have bought an extension cable though so I will have a go today.

I'll need an early night tonight as we are getting 7.30 train in morning to Edinburgh. Maintenance is in my account so that's good news. DD is heading off to T in the park so she is very excited and I will jut spend the next 5 days worried sick that she'll drink too much etc etc.Don't think she would be stupid enough to take anything other than drink but we shall have that chat again tonight before she goes. No doubt I will get the rolling of the eyes and the 'for God's sake Mum' :rotfl:. Tough luck though she will still be made to listen to me. My dd is 20 and when I look at her I cannot believe I got married at that age. It is just so young !!

So I best get off and get started. Have a lovely day folks xx

Well done on weightloss - that's fab. I have started (last week) cutting out chocolate bars, crisps, cake and biscuits. its hard but I keep reminding myself of the last picture I saw of myself! I have also cut out bread and chips as we have them most nights with our tea. I am feeling better for it but not seen any difference on the scale yet.

Enjoy your trip it sounds like its going to be fun.

I remember the first time my son went to T in the Park - also worried myself sick even though he is a boy but he has been to loads now so I have stopped worrying but I am sure she will be fine after your gentle reminder of all the weirdo's out there :)

The first time I went to T I was 15 and I only went as a day tripper. I camped the next few years and had a hoot.

    She'll be grand.
  • She was there 2 years ago when the rain was horrific and I almost had to go up and get her. This year is to be mostly dry so hopefully a better experience for her. i'm sure she'll be fine.

NSD today :D. Took fridge to the skip and did a bit of gardening. Going to do some more but will wait until it cools down a bit. It is absolutely scorchio here today and I have been sitting out with my slimming world magazine getting some vitamin D. Supposed to be going for a walk later but I can see it being cancelled.

Going to make a joint of ham for dinner with nice mash and sweetcorn. I can use the leftover ham for rolls for DS and I tomorrow for travelling to Edinburgh. I will take rolls and some fresh fruit with me so we at least don't need to pay for breakfast. DS wants to have lunch in the Scottish Parliament canteen so we may do that tomorrow. I'll see. I've not packed yet but I have no intentions of taking very much anyway so no big deal. Going to check and see if station has a left luggage for both days to save us lugging it about with us.xx
