the pp was related to the buyer not this forum:rotfl:
I just love it when its clear but daunting yet understandable.

Yes, I am saying there is no "pp" at all for buyer, seller, OP or you!

Glad you agree in the other points though. ;)

The requirement for confirmed addresses was removed several years ago and with PayPal it really does pay to keep up to date with the changes.

One of my PayPal addresses (I have a micro and a premier) often shows as unconfirmed as do many of the buyers I send to.

Can the buyer add the new address in the "Message to Seller" box?

They can add it wherever they like, but if the SELLER wants Paypal/Ebay protection then the address MUST be added AT payment to the Paypal transaction.

Interesting discussion. I didn't ask for a confirmed address from my buyer just a correct delivery one when they paid, ie the paypal address is the only one I will post to. Have told them to add it when paying but all I keep getting from them is the same identical message 'send to this new address, I can't update my Ebay details as I have no computer just a phone'. My original question was 'why won't they update and can they actually update using a phone' as it all seems a bit odd why they haven't updated, if they can find the time to keep emailing me with the address they can surely find the time to update Ebay/paypal details. How do I know this isn't a hacked account/scam? They still haven't paid and I've not heard from them today.
  • OP, are you planning to send the item by a tracked method?
