Done a system restore, works on IE but still the same with mozilla.
Anymore ideas would be gratefully receivewdif i had known then what i know now0 -

Zone alarm
Dlink has its own firewall
Windows as wellif i had known then what i know now0 -
If you have zone alarm, you don't need the windows firewall as well.
try switching that off.0 -

The router was installed properly as far as i could tell, it was the other problems i am trying to overcome. Something is obviously out kilter but will reset & start again.if i had known then what i know now0 -

Another thing is driving me mad. I have disconnected the router & am using the pc with my usb cable. I can access this forum in normal mode using IE but still cannot do it using firefox. Anyone with some answers would be gratefully receivedif i had known then what i know now0 -

If it had been installed correctly, it would have worked OK on the following day!
Get it working with IE first and then sort out Firefox as some routers can be fussy about browsers used during set-up.:doh: Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0
