That does seem very odd.
My house has been on the market for one week. It is:
1. A bit overpriced
2. A bit tatty
but I've had 14 viewings in one week and 4 more booked for next week so far.0 -
My what info?0

That's encouraging-both the amount of interest and the fact that your house is a bit tatty! Gives me hope.0 -
What is on right move
I see! (I'm new at this!)
No .... right move have used all the right words, but they didn't put up a photo of the bathroom. The bathroom is grim.
Though viewings are good, it's offers that are important. Only had one of those and it was £30,000 under. The bathroom isn't that grim.0 -

2 weeks ago I viewed a house that had 33 viewings in 9 days, and she refused to do Sundays!
Unless it's a very slow area I'd be worried and ask how many viewings the 3rd and 5th houses on their list get.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
If you really want to be rid of it just lower the price. When I sold my place earlier this year I had the estate agents round got their valuation and knocked 20k off it then marketed. We had about 15 viewings the first Saturday it was on the market and had an offer 5k under my asking price on the Monday that I accepted. 3 months later I moved out and the new people moved in. It's all about the money you probably need to lower the asking price.0

And why had none bought? I am having ample viewings too, but would rather have a couple with offers!Pawpurrs x

We sold our Spanish house after four months and one serious viewing, but it was very much niche market. We accepted quite a lot under the asking price (although the bank had valued it slightly higher than our asking price).
Assuming your house is OK inside, and it is not a niche market, to me the lack of viewings suggests that the price is too high.(AKA HRH_MUngo)

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0
