Hi all,
Every Friday we’re going to start sharing with you some of the exciting forum stats that our clever robots/technical staff tell us.
We’ll be giving you a rundown of the week’s most popular boards and threads, as well as mentioning some of the more kooky topics that have been keenly discussed in the seven days previous.
As most of you will know, the MSE forum isn’t just for discussing MoneySaving, there’s room for all sorts of conversations (yesterday there was even a debate titled Men - Would you be pregnant if you could be?).
Popular threads this week
*Drumroll please*…and the prize for the hottest topic on the entire forum this week goes to - the Baking Tips and Quick Questions thread! With a massive 70,000 views, it’s safe to say the discussion is being fuelled by the return of the Great British Bake Off, which has now reached the serious business of the semi-final.
The Tins of Quality St, Roses & Celebrations thread also proved popular, and was featured in the weekly email. Of the more hard core MoneySaving topics, the What Benefits at 60? thread was well read this week.
Most popular boards
A regular chart topper, Competitions Time was the number one board, where we’ve seen forumites win trips to Iceland and Argentina this week. The rest of the top five were:
And finally…
This is anything but a bog standard thread - plop along to Does it annoy you when people come to your house and poo? and discuss whether you’re guilty of making a splash at a friend’s house!
Get involved
It'd be much appreciated if you could feedback any suggestions or questions you have, and to let us know what you think. We really hope this is useful and you get involved in this week's best discussions.
Have a lovely weekend all.

You want feedback?
My feedback is - try responding to questions posted to the team via some of the other threads started by team members. For example, on the topic of repeating our MSE posts on a third party site (Twitter) without our permission: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4789132
But what's the betting that you ignore this post too?:heartpuls Mrs Marleyboy :heartpuls
MSE: many of the benefits of a helpful family, without disadvantages like having to compete for the tv remoteProud Parents to an Aut-some son

Some of the way it's written and some of the the content is a bit trashy.0

Did there not used to be a thread sticky similar to this?
If I remember rightly, it died a death because the forum team stopped posting the weekly details.0 -

you had some threads nominated for great contributions from a financial and social perspective - that was also a good idea for a good community spirit and engender loyalty0 -
Do you have stats from years ago. I'd be interested to see the most popular thread from the same week eg three years ago and six years ago.:heartsmil When you find people who not only tolerate your quirks but celebrate them with glad cries of "Me too!" be sure to cherish them. Because these weirdos are your true family.0
