Hi, I have just been searching for ramantic getaways. How about this:http://www.cottagehotel.org/standard.html. Get the train from London, only takes an hour to Brockenhurst. Then you can wheel to the Hotel, and they have ground floor suites, with easy access for wheel chairs. Hope you manage to book somewhere.
ps. I am normally lurking, and this is my first post - be kind!0 -
Hi StaySkiathos - welcome to the board!
Unfortunately, your link doesn't seem to work...

I don't normally pick people up on spelling but was just wondering if 'ram-antic' was a freudian slipstayskiathos wrote: »Hi, I have just been searching for ramantic getaways.

Went to Gaydon near Warwick and Motor museum the other week and stayed at Redlands Farm. Lovely old farmhouse and 4 poster bed. Only draw back not en-suite but lovely surroundings0

We love the Oxford Four Spires Hotel. It is situated right on the river and 15 minute walk from the shops.
It has four poster beds, balcony, piano bar, a la carte restaurant, pool, sauna, etc. A night there at the weekend is very reasonable (can't remember how much) definately under 150 quid though (for you both) and you get gorgeous meal, bed and breakfast.

Well worth the money. We love it!
In regards to Oxford there is also the McDonald Randolph which I have stayed at quite a lot with work and got a free upgrade one time to a room with a 4 poster
There website is here

They can also be booked through laterooms.com but according to that they are full so may be worth contacting hotel direct0 -
Hi
I put 'four poster beds hotel' into MSN search and found:

http://www.wentworthhouse.co.uk/fourposter.htm

Sorry didn't have time to look at costs, but thought it could give you some ideas to try, you could do a similar search in google etc.
Hope you have a great time and (joking aside) be careful with your back, you don't want to trigger your problems again (been there, done that!).
