The really crazy thing is that any normal HL Vantage customer not even involved in the IPO is affected as well. Terrible advert for HL.

I managed to sell my 227 shares at 8.02 this morning with TD Direct, who themselves have had problems in the past at busy times. The closest my mother has got is to request a price only then to be told "a live price cannot be obtained" and then it says the portfolio is not available. This is nearly 2.5 hours after I sold mine! :mad:

My account seems to have disappeared as well.

What a joke.

Glad I haven't trusted them with £1000s of my money.

Exactly the same. No cash or stock and no confirmation that my sale has gone through.

I cant login or get through to the call centre either. I think HL should waive the selling commission charge on RM shares for this farce.

Their head of investments was on 5 live this morning saying they were expecting it but clearly they haven't allocated sufficient resources.

I think that's a reasonable suggestion. I mentioned this on the Royal Mail thread after seeing someone suggest it on twitter.
