congrats on coming a year on and things are generally goin well for you both...keep it up...:T ..congrats on lil'un - far more important than any money issues x

have you both done a SOA? could now be a way forward - dont know whether you have joint finances as i read you pay some stuff, your partner pays others.... but could be good to do even more together? and give you a good start/plan to start from and can then take into account redundancy etc and if you get any benefits then?...hope ive read everything correctly - feel free to correct me if not have you had the link to it on here?

I have a job till January I will then get a little bit of redundo, If push comes to shove i will sell my car & partners car and get something cheaper to run about in, to keep the wolf from the door, and then only i will attack my savings.
So i dont really need to do a SOA for now.
I have some savings and i know what people will think, "why dont i offer to pay off part of my OH's debt." I have offered, but she has stated on more than 1 occassion that she wants to do it to give her a sense of achievement,

I am hopeful of finding a job before any of that happens tho'
