Birthday present for Centenarian!!

Am going to a birthday party next week. The lady who is having the birthday will be 100 years young!

Any suggestions for a different "token" present for such a lady? She has all her faculties (was regularly going out and playing bingo until this time last year).

I was going to suggest that as well

Plus if I make it to 100, I want a big bottle of something alcoholic (I appreciate she may not drink).
  • Hi,

get her a dvd of whoever her 'pop idol' was when she was a teenie.

She lives very comfortably with her son & family - a proper old "east-end fambly"!

I vote for a good tipple too, at that age she might care more for practical things than a coin or a paper. Just my view no offence intended!!!

Trouble is, the "talkies" hadn't been invented when she was a teenie!!

Could you arrange to treat her to afternoon tea?
Either at her home or take her out?
