Congratulations aliasojo, you have just made me laugh for the first time in a few days.
I'm not sure if it beats my burnt jelly and rubber custard but we could make a right mess between us :rotfl:
:D:D
Honestly I do have some life skills. They just don't seem to involve kitchen things. :rotfl:

I'm warming towards the portioning it up and adding to future mince things school of thought.
I have more mince in the freezer, I could do this all over again tomorrow.

_pale_ get some sausage skins from a friendly butcher, stuff 'em - call it mediterranean white pudding?

Ok, I've scraped it into boxes now. It's going in the freezer labelled 'gloop'....... that way OH wont think it is actually mince and try to eat it.
:rotfl:
I shall try again another day.

Hi,

oh well.
Why not try a curry type wallpaper paste then,
soak a handful of sultanas in a cup of hot water until plump,
dice a cooking apple, soften in microwave, only 10/15 seconds at a time, so as not to lose shape,
add a good dollop of curry powder to the wallpaper paste, heat gently, then add sultanas and apple, heat gently.
Delicious with coucous or rice.0 -

Might try that with some of it. I'll use this batch as 'training' gloop.

Couple of serious thoughts.
Lentils and oats may be a bit OTT; one or the other.
Mushrooms make just about anything look yucky. I had a sauce with tomatoes, wine, plums and mushrooms the other night. Looked vile (mainly because of the mushrooms) but tasted fine.If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -

That's definitely where it all went wrong.
I used too much of each too.
When peope say 'chuck in some .....', that's what I did, chucked some in.
They'd have been better saying 'sprinkle' when they're talking to me. :rotfl:Herman - MP for all!
