Christmas gifts for other half

That's a very nasty interpretation of what I said!
Why is it? Perhaps I should of said servant instead of wh*re should I? I was baffled by your post that someone in a loving relationship couldn't accept gifts from their partner without feeling the partner was trying to procure their affection/attention in some way (surely they've already got it), I would never jump to that conclusion.
My OH always spends more on me than I do on him, not huge amounts as we haven't got it but he's notoriously difficult to buy for and I'm not, he's not fussed about Christmas whereas I am. Plus I do the present shopping for the boys and our families and he just buys for me, so he's got more time.
I don't see the issue, sorry but not every aspect of a relationship has to be perfectly equal in order to be successful.Over futile odds
And laughed at by the gods
And now the final frame
Love is a losing game0
