A Ferrari driving between two rows of parked cars on a narrow street at 15mph does not fulfil the legal definition of a 'slow moving vehicle'.

Which legal definition is that?
If it's a legal definition then it should be easy to show which piece of current legislation provides this definition.
Hearsay from a third party "dude" isn't exactly compelling evidence.0 -
If you want the definition of a slow moving vehicle as used in the highway code, just look in the highway code. It's not rocket science. No need to trouble and dudes.George_Michael wrote: »Which legal definition is that?

Its relevant as you mentioned a Ferrari driving at 15mph.
My comments are not relevant if your original comments about the Ferrari were not relevant.
Rubbish.
My comment was relevant because we were discussing what the Highway Code means by 'slow moving vehicle'.
I pointed out that the highway code does not consider a Ferrari a slow moving vehicle, even if it is moving slowly.
All your post said was that something that is moving slowly is moving slowly - a tautology which was never in dispute, and is thus irrelevant. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
Would that be the highway code is not UK statute law?If you want the definition of a slow moving vehicle as used in the highway code, just look in the highway code. It's not rocket science. No need to trouble and dudes.
If someone states that something has a legal definition, is it wrong to ask for this definition to be shown?0 -

If you've got a def in statute law for a slow moving vehicle why not just quote it? Otherwise it looks very much as if you're arguing for the sake of it.0 -
Is a funny old world when people need a law before they drive with consideration for other road users0

Even with the hundreds or thousands of traffic laws we have we still haven't managed to get all drivers to drive with even moderate consideration for others.0 -

I do not think George has the definition. I think that is what he is after rather than some going my mate who works at highway code shop says this.
When you Google "highway code slow moving vehicle definition" you do not get a definition.0 -

I can't qoute it for the simple reason I don't believe such a definition exists.
This is why I was asking Azari to show where the term "slow moving vehicle" is defined in law as he stated.
Azari is quick enough to pounce if someone posts something which is incorrect or can't be proven, so I thought it was only fair to give him the chance to back up his claims.0 -
Drivers who pull out right behind me when I'm turning right on a roundabout giving me no space to get over into the correct lane drive me absolutely mad!! Wait an extra 2 seconds till I've cleared the roundabout for god sake!:heart2:0
