Im sure morrisons do a price check voucher on their SOLD OUT deals.

If an offer has sold out you can ask for a voucher, and when it comes back in stock you can buy it for the price of the offer.

No, Morrisons Chingford is still out, although they said they put out a few this morning. They said they might get another lot tonight, but as I don't have any more errands in the area, I won't be going back. Will have to watch out for bargains elsewhere - does Costco have anything similar? My friend's offered her card.
I have yet to find anything good about the Chingford branch - going next door to Sainsburys is an altogether more pleasant experience.

They are not daft, they know that probably 60% of sweets sold this early will be eaten long before Christmas, then at the end of Nov the price will go up.

But as the SA pointed out to me, why do people need 6 boxes?

I have to say our local Morrisons is in a not so great part of town so it is not unusual to find the customers that shop there physically fighting over reduced meat etc..
I try and avoid going there if I can possibly help it, especially with the kids in tow - a saving of 50p for a tin of chocs is not enough of an incentive for me - I would rather pay more at Asda or Tesco

Glad I picked mine up monday! Just a box of heroes and a roses for me though x
  • wow! such a shame to hear about people behaving like that over sweets! I wanted 2 - one for us and one for my neighbours children for Christmas, they had plenty Tuesday morning when I went and other people put 2 in their trollies when I was there - like last Christmas with the 3 for 1 selections boxes in mr T, 3 of us wanted some, they bought out the one box they had and we agreed between us what we wanted and put some on the shelf for other people - Christmas spirit! the SA told us people had been snatching boxes from under other peoples noses an shouting at the staff etc - I know we all want to save money and many buy for friends, gifts etc, but surely everyone can behave the right way?? scary!

My mother who is 84 is giving them as family gifts this year as she can no longer afford annuals for all her 30 great grandchildren. Though we haven't been to morrisons yet, so it looks like she will be out of luck on the offer. :)
