is there a snipper software for ebay?

another thing that gets up my goat is those that offer best offer and you can bid £1 under their asking price and they still reject your best offer, so whats the point of them displaying best offer when they reject them.0

I use sniping software on a regular basis and whilst there is no way of knowing the maximum that other bidders were willing to pay, I do know that there is no way that any of the sellers in question were able to shill up the amount that I paid as I usually snipe in the last couple of seconds.
The facts are above and undisbuted by all on this thread. But here they are again: If I bid first with my maximum amount with ebay. I beat all snipers bidding the same amount or less. Anyone disagree?;)0 -
Agree, I think most people who use them regularly do know that they work.
I only put early bids on items I'm not too bothered about winning - 99 times out of 100 I'm outbid.
If it's an item I really want i always use a snipe to increase my chances of winning.
If its an item i really want i choose buy it now or go to a shop.0 -

You are correct, the winner can only be the person who bids the most. A snipe bid cannot beat a proxy bid if the proxy bid placed earlier is higher than the snipe.
Many people believe all sellers shill bid so would see an early proxy bid as dangerous, it really depends on whether you believe all sellers are crooked or not.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I think i`m going to give sniping a try , 95% of the time i`m buying the same item and i know the most i want to be paying is £45 any lower and thats more profit

What i normally do is on a night go through and place my max bid for all items ending in 24 hrs or less, then repeat the next night.
I`d normally win 80-90 per cent of my bids at £45 or under ,but in the last few months i`m only winning 20-30 per cent. i`ve never had much competition over the last 9 months but it`s quite obvious someone else is bidding against me.
It will be quite interesting to see if sniping helps at all.0 -
I win nearly every auction i snipe
I lose nearly every auction i bid on upfront. Theres always someone willing to add 50p.
I use:-
