    Hey.

Oh that's reassuring news, make sure you take it easy and get lots of rest.

Hugs pm- I hope your feeling better soon and the medication kicks in.

Hugs for everyone else who needs one.

No news here- still no af- or any signs whatsoever. Im getting bored of waiting now!!
  • credit_crunch I think today will be when you ovulate and then tomorrow will be 1DPO

Fingers crossed for BFP's for those ladies testing soon

If its of any help I get really painfully sore boobs from about 5/6 DPO, to the point I can't sleep its so painful :(

Blood tests all came back fine, iron levels were slightly low but they aren't concerned as I'm not anaemic or anything. She said DH could go for SA but that she was more than happy to just refer us straight away as if his SA came back abnormal then we'd be referred, if it came back normal we'd still be referred to see what else was causing our issues. So we decided just to go straight for the referral and have an appointment on the 4th December. Really nervous about it all but just really hoping we get some answers.

The GP was really lovely, said that all our tests would be free on the NHS and as neither of us have children if we need treatment that should be free too.

Credit_crunch, I put you at 0dpo today because you don't ov til about 24 hours after your positive opk. Hope that's ok.

Fingers crossed ali. I hate those boots tests. I've had dodgy ones too.

Hugs for all the CD1s. Pickle, I've left you on the list, but if you want to come off, let me know. Hugs.

chocoholic_chick - glad your GP visit went ok.

Mrs T_M - glad everything is ok.

PM - hope the bleeding has abated a little bit.

Hugs for everyone who needs one.

    Yes!

I have PCOS, my cycles were anything from 12 to 53 days long, had not been successful in TTC. Went on Micronor for 3 months (and had a period every other week!), came off it, was NTNP and got pregnant within the first month of trying!

    *relurks*

Thank you so much for coming out of lurking to share that! Makes me feel much more positive about it, didn't want to go back on it & it made me feel really rubbish but wanted to do everything they suggested so there was no chance of them saying well if you'd tried such & such.... Good to hear of such a positive outcome!

Did a OPK which was neg but I'll keep doing them I think, or maybe I should wait until I've had 1 "normal" period after stopping the pill again. So many options with this TTC!
  • Oh no Part Mouse that's not good. Do they know what's causing the bleeding or is it a really heavy AF? Whatever it is I hope the bleeding stops soon.
I had to go on the pill to control my AF's as they were so bad they made me ill, but obviously that's not an option now I'm TTC.

ttc39 whenever me and OH used to stay with his family for a few days we used to stay up late as they would go to bed early...then we'd make good use of the lounge and sofas - you can't really hear what's going on downstairs from upstairs, especially if you turn the tv up a bit.
Of course, you take the risk that somebody could come downstairs, but you'd hear them on the stairs before they saw you.

Thanks for all the crossed fingers, my HPTs won't arrive til at least 1 day after AF is due, as they are coming 2nd class, so I'm hoping for a definitive answer when they arrive if AF hasn't answered the question already. It's probably just as well I've ran out of them as OH keeeps telling me off for wasting them, he says I should wait until AF is due before considering testing.

I hope all of you who are experiencing the storms are OK and have power, it's not too bad up in the North West so I managed to get a bit of extra walking in to/from work today.

LailaP I'm also having boob pain, and although I've never paid attention to how I feel throughout my cycle until now, I'm pretty sure it's not a regular occurence for me. The last time I remember it bothering me was in the first few months being pregnant with DS1. I know everybody's body is different, but fingers crossed it's a pg symptom for you.
Glad to hear your job is now safe, I work full time but I still spend all day thinking about TTC and trying to sneak on my phone to catch up with the news on this thread!

Good luck with the wedding planning linz4383 - are you waiting until after the wedding to TTC or starting now?

Hugs for CD1 cwtw and all the other ladies who the wicked witch has caught this week.

Fingers crossed Aqua - are your cycles usually regular?

AFM nothing to report ttc wise, have a smear test tomorrow and going to ask the nurse about my cycles then and get her opinion. My OH is in denial - we have been trying since Dec, but in his mind it has only been a few months!

My cycles were pretty regular before I went on the pill, I conceived DS1 whist on the minipill but not taking it properly due to working long hours and NTNP and I've not really had any AF's for about 3 years because I breastfed then went back onto the pill.
I know the pill can mess cycles up but I'm hoping it hasn't. I think there's probably more health issues that I didn't used to have that are more likely to be a barrier to me getting pg.
I've always had to take the minipill rather than the normal pill due to health issues, and it usually stops AFs completely, I was on a different one once which gave me an AF every 2 weeks which was a nightmare but on the plus side I dropped a lot of weight. But when I've not been taking the pill I've always been regular but that was years ago.

I hope your OH comes round to accepting that you've been trying a long time. From what I read on the threads a lot of men don't seem to take TTC as seriously as us women. I know I'm very lucky in the respect that OH wants another child as much as I do, so will pretty much do as I request, although he doesn't understand my need/obsession to test all the time.

fingers crossed for you alipops. Excting times.

Glad all went well at the doctors chocoholic_chick

Hugs to all the ladies who are having a bad time at the moment, and fingers crossed for all the ladies in the 2ww.

Am and code bleeding is still very much happening, still not sure what's going on, I had a coil put in years ago but that was awful. Sill got to wait at least a week to start the injections again.
  • :grouphug:Hugs PM. Hopefully this is your body's way of preparing for your next round of injections so your insides are in optimum condition for the egg.
I don't know as I have no medical knowledge but hopefully it will all be worth it. Fingers crossed the injections are successful next week.
I really hope you get some positive news soon as you are really lovely to all the ladies who post on here despite going through what sounds like a really horrendous time yourself x
