Why does it make you angry?

Because, when it takes forever to get pregnant you get a bit irrational and you start to get a bit irritated. First it's by those stupid mom memes that get posted on facebook, then it's these baby adverts that go on about how wonderful being a parent is and they just remind you that you're not ever going to have a baby. Eventually the sight of a pregnant lady makes you want to burst into tears or push her in front of a train depending on where you are in your cycle.

It's horrible becoming that person, and I really hope none of you get here.

Hugs codemonkey I'm so sorry you feel like that, it's horrible.

If it's any consolation, that Johnson's advert really gets up my nose too and I've not been trying very long. And I hate "mumjackers" especially on the book of face, who have to make everything about their successful reproductive status by saying "As a mother...." or "Thinking about my family..." when the subject matter absolutely does not require one to have a fruitful uterus in order to make an informed comment. /rant :o

Also, I had a dream last night that I had a baby boy. He had dark hair and was kicking his legs and smiling. I knew in the dream that he wasn't real and I was dreaming so I wasn't too upset when I woke up but thinking about it makes me smile.

Ahh hugs code, I'm so sorry you are having a carp time. Me wanting to cry at it is because it makes me sad that I don't have don't a baby, I get like that with anything to do with babies.
I never thought TTC would make me so emotional. I usually just get upset rather than angry buy I haven't been trying that long.
One thing that does make me angry though is my step sister who is a complete chav and has had 2 kids she doesn't even seem to like because she just dumps them on everyone else...oh and they were "accidents" too as she loves telling people. Makes my blood boil that someone like that can pop them out any time she wants and can claim benefits etc where as me and hubby have waited until we can afford it and it's not happening as quickly as we had hoped.
    Anyway hope I didn't upset anyone :o

Oh I have relatives like that. Including one who conceived her child in a pub carpark and needed multiple DNA tests to figure out who the father is. She then had someone else taking care of him most nights and wondered why he wouldn't call her Mummy. Plus my brother who is a bit of a richard head, has loads of children with different women. Whereas I was so careful until I met DH, then we wanted to get the house sorted and get married before we tried. I'm starting to think that the universe hates me.

I hated that Johnson's ad too. I found it very upsetting. I think the fetishising of motherhood is not helpful to anyone.

    :(

Seems like today is a sad day for everyone on here :(

Hugs to all that need them.

My sad day is because I FINALLY got a OV smiley face yesterday (CD 11) morning only to the be struck down with THE worst sick bug i have ever experienced :( So DH wouldn't touch me with a bargepole (cant blame him!) even though i was crying and begging (oh the shame!) because we have FINALLY got a positive OV and i wanted SO much to be in the running this month. Feeling slightly better today and part of me wonders whether its worth DTD tonight if I can face it (and if i can convice DH i am better enough!) just in CASE we havent missed the window. Am going to do another of the CB tests today to see if the peak smiley is still there - if it is, then i am gonna assume its still good to go! Probably missed it though which is typical!

*Meant to say - We DTD on Saturday night so i am hoping that some of those little swimmers bedded down for the long haul and MAYBE stayed there for long enough if i have missed the window today :/
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
