Official Trying to Conceive - Thread 10

Hello All,

I've been following this thread with interest. This is our first month TTC, and first proper month without the pill - I had my period last month. Obviously, chances of getting pregnant first month are slim i'd imagine but I can't help but admit that I am hoping we might be VERY lucky!

My cycles are potentially out of sync, but according to fertility friend and based on last month i'm now 10DPO. I've done some tests, again probably pointless, but they've all been negative.

I'm hoping AF will appear, so I'll be able to work out my cycle length etc this month and crack on with trying again next month!

Congrats to those with BFP, i'm sure we'll all get there in the end! xxx

Thanks My blood tests were to check to see if I was ovulating and if not they were going to send me to a consultant for clomid, so since I am, there's no further action needed. They've checked a few things out (both ovulation-related and also any reasons behind me getting constant infections, feeling run down, feeling nauseous) but all have come back clear.

It's only been 4 months since I lost my twin boys (at 22w) so I think they're keen to let my body settle down again, but I'm thinking that if I'm still not getting anywhere by the new year I might go back and see if they can offer anything else. I'm very lucky to have a LO who is 3, I had an early miscarriage this time last year, then my loss earlier this year, so I have been able to get pregnant in the past. I now just need to get pregnant again and carry to term this time.

(I hope I'm not being insensitive talking about previous pregnancies, I know many people have struggled/are struggling to get pregnant for the first time. I do feel very lucky that I've managed to have one successful outcome.)

Good news on the tests sweaty. I really hope things work out for you.
AFM me and OH managed to DTD last night. Day 13 so I'm hoping we got a good day. I'll try and pin him down again tonight. We have the house to ourselves so it should be easier. :-) X

Operation BD hit a roadblock yesterday. OH was very tired after a hard few days at work and wasn't up to it. Not sure if we'll get chance to try again tonight (he's out) but I hope to cause I actually had the teensiest bit of ewcm today. I was ridiculously excited

Sorry I haven't been on in a while. Been snowed under at work! I'm pretty sure i've ovulated but not sure when. OH & I have decided that if we don't get anywhere this month then we're going to start testing for ov & do it properly. Hope everyone is okay & sending good wishes to everyone xx

I need to change myself to something DPO... if i got my peak smiley on CB ov predictor thing on Tuesday, what does that make me??!! Ie do i count myself as ovulating on that day even though in theory it could have been yesterday? in which case would today be 2DPO? :cool: oh help!

You would have thought that after YEARS of trying, i would get the bloomin' maths of it all :rotfl::rotfl:
