So have been using the CB Digi OV kit thingy this month... and before that was using the IC OPK's ... and with them, it is better to test later in the day etc.... now for some reason, CB wants theirs to be done FIRST wee of the bloomin' day!!!!! So am now worrying a TAD that i could be getting these flashy "high fertility" faces because i am a FOOL and have tested at wrong time of day..... :cool: Surely not though?? I am also confuddled now because i was thinking that i would get flashy face for a couple of days then a big non-flashy Peak face... :cool:

Oh gosh - i am a dumb-!!!!

Just de-lurking to say the same happened to me, I got about 5 days of the flashing smiley before it went to the solid peak smiley

I tested in the morning but there was one occasion where I couldnt test until the afternoon and I got a peak solid smiley

Glad its not just me - I (embarassingly!) was all excited that I would be getting a little solid smiley, as a new graduate of the flashy smiley! So a bit disappointed that I havent got one yet! Fingers crossed for a solid one tomorrow MORNING (must remember.. I am NOT a morning person!) If I can't get a BFP I want at least a BFS (Big fat Smiley!)

Evening all,

Only my second post in here but I thought I'd post an update and ask some questions

I've had my fertility appointment today and I have been prescribed provera which I'm to take to induce AF (I'm terrified it makes me feel physically sick just thinking about it) I think because I'm not used to it and it hurt so much the last time

Anyway after starting AF I'm to count the first day of this as CD1? (Is this right by what you ladies do?) the. On CD2-6 I'm to take 50mg of Clomid.

I'm excited slightly at the prospect of starting this but also the AF thing scares the hell out of me (sorry for being such a baby!!! And no I'm not even kidding!)

Then I'm to go for a blood test on CD21... My question is should I buy thos ovulation sticks? The doctor didn't mention them and I forgot to ask

Also, I'm quite angry at the doctor my BMI was charted as 29.1 last time and this time, I'm a size 14 and I'm 5ft7 I'm completely happy with the way I look but I've been told to immediately lose weight :mad: I know, I know it's not perfect for a BMI but I guess it's another thing to add to my list to do...

Sorry I think I'm just rambling now :cool:

Sweet P I just did the same a couple of months ago and it was fine. I have to ask though, have you never had periods other than the one?

Doctors appointment went fine actually, I did the Provera thing last time and I didnt ovulate so we need to get that ovulation working! She did confirm though that at the start of my 'issues' my TSH levels for my thyroid was 33! I do have a small cyst apparently, but not big enough to be a problem. They are convinced its the weight and thyroid now, but I also have 3 courses of Provera to do and I have to get the hsg (I cant spell it done). If it hasnt by my next appointment in Feb, as long as I have lost more weight we are going to try Clomid.
