Hugs to all that need them.
Got to find something to occupy myself whilst I'm at home this week. Still in limbo with my job and spent most of last week eating! Not good.
I'm thinking I might do the 30 day shred again. Does exercise have an effect on TTC?

I don't think exercise has any effect on TTC if you're the right weight, might even help if you're obese like me and it helps you to lose weight. (Not accusing you of being obese, I don't know what size you are). My friend who was underweight was advised to avoid exercise when TTC as the doctor didn't want her to lose more weight. In my own past experience, once you are pregnant though the doctors advise not to start any new exercise you didn't do previously, although if there is an exercise you normally do that's fine to continue with until you get to the point where you just don't feel up to it anymore. A few months prior to conceiving DD1 I started exercising more often than I had before so in my case I think it helped.

Hugs to codemonkey and everybody else who is fed up or having a bad time.

Hope your ferret gets well soon vesper.

I'm a Slimming World member and been at target a year so at the moment I am a good weight. The problem is I am a terrible comfort eater and when I get stressed or bored I tend to just sit and eat which is what I've been doing the last couple of weeks with having no job to go which then makes me feel worse and obviously can't be good for TTC eating rubbish.
I do a lot of walking already but the 30DS would be on top. I don't want to do it to lose weight, I just figured I should do something productive with my time to stop me eating and they say exercise helps cheer you up don't they? I just wasn't sure if it would be bad with TTC but sounds like it is probably a good thing.

Seriously rubbish weekend - AF arrived on Friday, went away then came back again on Sunday so now CD2.

Spent the whole of the weekend an emotional wreck - Dad's back in hospital. Has been unwell for a few days but deteriorated on Sat morning, hospice nurse arranged for a non-emergency ambulance to come out but 1.5 hours later still nothing. He then took a very serious turn for the worst so called 999 and they changed the status of it and sent an emergency ambulance but after 20 mins still nothing. By then Dad was unconcious and in a hypoglycaemic coma so called 999 again and they assured me it was on it's way - about 15 mins later it turned up so all in all, a 2 hour wait for an ambulance. So upset! :(

He fell back into another hypo coma on Sat night but they brought him out again and he's still in hospital waiting for more tests as he can't stand or walk unaided, poor thing

Hugs to those the witch caught.

Here's hoping things improve all round

Oh Gelly how awful. My sister and I spent 2 hours waiting for an emergency ambulance for our grandad a few months ago and it was beyond frustrating - just kept being told they were on the way (heaven knows where from!) Really hope the next lot of tests bring better news. Am thinking of you x.

    CD3 here.
  • Hi all! xxxx

Didnt realise I'd been gone so long! Well strangely enough, nothing to declare! WIll be in Royal Oldham in precisely one hour listening to the Dr tell me they cant do anything at the moment because nothing changed.
I'm nowhere near the BMI they wanted but in my defence its my hormones :p No, it really is! My TSH levels for my hypothyroidism started at 22 (they want 0.4), got it down to only 10 after 3 months so had dosage increased. Had bloodtest done on Thursday to find out that after 3 months it's gone back up to 15.35. My Doc tells me that my thyroid is the biggest barrier to my getting pregnant in his opinion, honest whip the thing out and lets get down to some serious baby making!

It's one of them days people, one of them days :o
Hugs and love to everyone though xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?
  • Haha - Okay, having one of thos "My God can I really BE that stupid" moments..... yes, another case of not reading instructions properly - I am like a man when it comes to instructions!

So have been using the CB Digi OV kit thingy this month... and before that was using the IC OPK's ... and with them, it is better to test later in the day etc.... now for some reason, CB wants theirs to be done FIRST wee of the bloomin' day!!!!! Grrrrrrr.... So have I wasted them?? Because it appears to be working.. ie CD7 - tested at about 4pm and empty little circle thingy... then CD8 (saturday) tested again (this time at 2pm) and a little flashy smiley face appeared - which apparently means high fertility... yesterday (CD9) tested again during afternoon (damn it!) and got flashy face... today have tested (yes yes afternoon) and again flashy face. So am now worrying a TAD that i could be getting these flashy "high fertility" faces because i am a FOOL and have tested at wrong time of day..... Surely not though?? I am also confuddled now because i was thinking that i would get flashy face for a couple of days then a big non-flashy Peak face...

    Oh gosh - i am a dumb-!!!!
