I cant remember who asked bout the clear blue monitor - if you miss your window of 6 hrs.. it just forgets that day. if the monitor believes you have ovulated, it may not ask for more sticks. (this is what happened to me this month anyway).

itll be an early posting of the lists tomorow ladies and a late posting on wednesday as im going away for the day and night.

    ThinkPink - thrilled for you!!

Kellykins - have a good trip away :) remember, if you ever can't manage the lists I'm sure lots of us would volunteer...don't let it become a burden :)

ETA - I meant if you are going away or something someone would do it for a day or so - I don't mean in general, I think you are doing a fab job!

I cant decide though whether to use the opks this month or just see how this cycle goes- Im worried if I use Opks I will start obsessing- plus I want it to remain a little bit of fun- and Im thinking if I do Ov it should fall at a good time as we have a fair amount of time off over Christmas.

Kellykins- If you could leave me on the current cd for now I will update when as starts properly if thats ok.
  • Congratulations on all the BFP's.

So I seem to have "lost" my opk's. I thought tidying the house was meant to be a good idea. Cannot for the life of me find them :rotfl:

Feeling a little better about the family members choice of name (however I'm trying not to think about it too much as I get too upset, it's too ridiculous to try and explain to people).

It's not ridiculous, it was part of your plan to use that name and they've just sneaked in ahead of you. There's nothing to stop you using it though - I know a few families where cousins have similar or the same names. If you like it that much, who cares?

Re OPKs - I think the IC ones I got are either a dud pack or not sensitive to pick up surges for me (or I'm not ovulating, although I have been in previous months). What I'm saying is, I've decided that I've enough to think about with Christmas approaching so I don't care what the OPKs say, I'm just going to have sex and hope for the best! Maybe it'll do us both good :)

I'm still upset that our favourite boy name (and one of the few that goes with our last name) got taken by DH's aunt's dog.
