I'd been using some from home bargains (5 for £3 ) and usually got a near-enough line (along with 21 day bloods which confirmed I was ovulating). I've switched to Internet cheapies and have seen no line at all - I'm on cd15 and have usually ovulated by now. I've decided that unless I was to use those super devices that are a few hundred ££s (can't remember what they're called), I'm not going to get too hung up on it all and just keep having sex and hope for the best.
Daisiegg - if you're stressing is it worth a trip to the gp to say that you're trying but not sure if you're ovulating and ask for the 21 day bloods? That should reassure you, or if for some reason you're not ovulating will start the ball rolling on treatment to kick start it (that's what I did).
Thank you - this is only the first month of trying and I only came off the pill (after being on it for 13 years ish !) in September so I am not going to get too worried about it yet. I know I am being ridiculous!
Just bought a clear blue fertility monitor.....eek. I know it is maybe a bit OTT but we can afford it and hubby said just buy it, if it will be more straightforward than trying to tell how dark little lines are.0 -

Thanks...I know I am being stupid. I only came off the pill in September after being on it for a LONG time. First cycle off the pill was 50 days and second one was 31 days. I know you are absolutely right, it is way too early to be worried about anything!0 -

I think I might go buy a digi so so I can seen 1-2 weeks or whatever it might be.
I will ring my doc 2moro.
She did say before that because of my MC I would get an early scan - does anyone know how early these usually are? I have 6 weeks in my head?
Yay congrats!
The hospital told me that too but then my dr didn't seem keen on sending me for one unless I had problems. So we booked a private one.
I think if they do it will be around 8 weeks, as at 6 it's a bit early to always get a heart beat & see much.
We waited til 9 weeks.0 -

It does often take awhile for the body to get back to normal after being on the pill, try to relax and have lots of s3x:cool:0 -

Thanks, that is the plan!hubby will be pleased....he said the funniest thing yesterday. We had our first potentially baby making sex, as ff reckoned I was fertile due to watery cm, and afterwards he said 'so is that it? Can we not do it again until next month?' :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think he had got a bit confused after me talking about how there is such a slim chance of conceiving each month! :rotfl:0 -

I have also heard that early scans (reassurance scans after a loss) take place around 8 weeks. I have previously had scans at 6 weeks because of a pre-existing medical problem, but there's sometimes not a heartbeat at that point (which can worry you again) so my view is that 8 weeks is about right.0 -
Congrats Credit Crunch and Purcy81 am so pleased for you!
I know I will want a early scan too if I get pregnant again! Will happily pay for a private one if I have too!
