  • Hi all, I've been away on hols and frantically catching up at work the last couple of days. Congrats to any bfps I've missed. I came back to new babies everywhere, it's really getting too much.
Fortunately I ov'd while we were away and we managed to dtd 4 times so trying not to get my hopes up for a holiday pregnancy.
Got 21 day bloods tomorrow and oh has his SA this week too - weirdly nervous about that one!

Tia, I think phone appointments are great in theory because you don't have to take time off work but at my surgery they give you a 1 hour window when you might get a phone call so I get really stressed having to find a quiet corner for an hour waiting for the call. That was just for a simple blood test result. Anything more complicated I would definitely make an appointment. I suppose it depends on your work.

Can I be updated to 7DPO please?
  • Cried at hubby earlier. He agreed to go have SA. Booked in for early January. He is fine about it, I am worried - I really don't want it to be him who is the carp one. Even though its a step forward (yes yes - after 3+ years of ttc lol!) I really don't feel positive at all. Think its because i never even got a 2ww this time.

3 years with nothing. It is pathetic really. Yet here i still am!

Feel isolated from family, friends, everyone - am worrying about stupid stuff as well now... hubby has xmas works do on Weds this week - lads night out on the town. I feel like he is going to go out and sleep with someone just to see if he CAN get someone pregnant and assert his manliness. Ridiculous I know. But that is where my head is at, at the moment. :(
Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?

  • I'm going to be optimistic and go for a prediction of 8 christmas BFPs keeping everything crossed for everyone!

Big hugs bigmomma - completely understandable to feel that way even though the idea itself is ridiculous. Good that he is gonna get checked. At least then you'll know.

Sending hugs bigmomma. It is crazy how our minds work, isn't it? I'm sure your husband is no more likely to do that than you are likely to go out and sleep with a random man to try and get pregnant and prove your femininity! But of course our worries and fears are never rational :( I hope you feel better x

    Hi to everyone,

Not much is happening here at the moment. Currently in the 2ww. I think I'm 9 dpo, I was thinking of doing a test as I have 2 xmas parties to go to this week. I know it wont show anything though.

Hugs to everyone who needs them.

    Morning all
Please can I guess 7 BFP for December
Been feeling really fed up since AF arrived. It's just so depressing that we waited so long getting everything in place to be in a good position to start trying and now we are trying it looks like there will be problems if I continue to have a pathetic 7 day LP!
I started taking Agnus Cactus and B6 on CD1. AF was short so gone but my boob pain is still here and worse if anything and this is really getting me down and making me worry what could be wrong.
I've got the doctors on Wednesday about the boobs and I'm going to mention the short LP (pretty sure this has been happenin
g every month) and the short cycles and see if it's all related.
Also love that my Facebook news feed is showing pregnancy announcements of people I don't even know!! !!!!!!!!??

Hi everyone, I confess i have been lurking for a little while and wonder if it would be ok to join you? OH and I have been TTC since we got married in August and were NTNP for a couple of months before that. We are on our fifth cycle of 'properly' trying.

I am used the FF app but not temping or anything atm, thinking of starting OPKs in the new year so will no doubt have lots of questions! I was diagnosed with cervical cancer last year and eventually had my cervix removed so we are hoping that hasn't caused any other problems, fingers crossed the consultant is happy so far. I am CD8 today.

Hope that isn't too much for a first post and that I have my acronyms correct ;) Thanks for having me!
