    Lilmissmup hugs for cd1.
  • Part Mouse - So sorry your scan didn't go well, hugs xx

Wangdoodle - I thinking of you and have everything crossed xx

I haven't been on here for a few days so just catching up. Hugs to anyone else who is having a rubbish time at the moment.

AFM, I have started doing my OPK but I'm a bit confused. I have a 25 day cycle so started testing CD8 (Tues). I had a bit of a line and assumed it would get darker as the days went on, but yesterday it was lighter and then today (CD10), no line at all! I've been testing at the same time each day and not drinking anything for 2 hours before. I will keep going with them as I always thought I Ov-ed around CD12 but is it possible to have a faint line, then no line and then get a positive?

I've also started taking Pregnacare this month and have noticed a strange side effect...my wee is bright green!! Hubby is taking the male version and has it too. Has anyone else experienced this?
  • Laila - I've found that my line varies in terms of how dark it is and doesn't necessarily start weak and "build up" to a dark ovulation line. So maybe keep testing for now?
I was told the other day that the maximum amount of time between ovulation and period is 16 days (can obviously be less), so day 8 could theoretically be the day, just.

It was defo not positive on CD8, no where near as dark as the control line. Me being the worrier that I am, I was just concerned that it wasn't getting darker, or I had some weird cycle where I Ov-ed during AF or something but sounds like it's probably OK. I will keep testing and hope to get something a bit more conclusive in a few days.
Hubby and I are BDing every other day anyway so we should be covered...assuming that I do actually ovulate, which I'm pretty sure I do.
We usually BD every day but this month we are trying every other to see if it makes a difference.

Ah good, thought I was going mad, it wasn't until I mentioned it to OH that I twigged it could be Pregnacare doing it, how strange!

    Morning ladies.

I just want to say thank you all so much for your kind words, your support has been invaluable to me this past week while I've been in this awful limbo.

The doctor will call me today with my blood results so at least I should know what's going on. I know I shouldn't be, but I'm full of hope that this is a normal pg.

Laila don't worry about your wee. It's the b vitamins that cause it. Your body can't absorb excess b vitamins and as they're water soluble they're excreted in urine. Some b vitamins (B2 and B12 I think, but don't quote me on that!) are yellow in colour and that's what you see in your pee.its quite normal :) I'm sure I'm going to be having the same thing today. I was so stressed out this morning I took my vitamins twice! :o

CD2 here. Arrived all of 2 hours after testing and facing that dreaded 1 line.

Hubby has SA next Monday and we have an appointment at the fertility clinic the Tuesday after.

Not much else to say, hugs to all. xxx
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.
  • Hugs for CD 2. Aw Vesper I'm so sorry. AF can be such a massive b*tch.

Good luck for your appointment. Hope you get the help you need x
