DN sorry for your bfn.0

Danielle - hugs for the BFN - don't rule yourself out until the witch gets you
AFM I am trying not to symptom spot - mostly because I know it is PMS rather than pregnancy symptoms0 -
Thanks ladies. naomijj I'm so sorry to hear about your loss, thanks so much for your kind words.
My blood from Monday had a hCG level of 211mIU/ml about 50 times what you'd expect for a non pg female. The notes said as it was still relatively low that it was probably a miscarriage but the doctor said she thought it looked pretty normal for 4 weeks.
She took more blood and will phone me with the results on Friday. She didn't think it was ectopic as I wasn't in pain and it's quite uncommon, but as it's still a risk they'll keep an eye on me.
So it's all a bit inconclusive for now...
Hugs to all in need. Sorry for your BFN Danielle hope it's just a shy one.0 -
Just popping on to say fingers crossed for wangdoodle, I've been in a similar situation so I know how horrible it is waiting for those numbers but I really hope they show a nice rise for you.
Just for comparison and hopefully to give you some hope my hcg was 21 at my first blood test (taken at 4 weeks) for my last mc and I was continually bleeding and pain at that point so your levels are far above that and definitely in normal range. If you're no longer bleeding and you don't have any pain then I think you have a good chance of a positive outcome HTH x
Hugs to all x0 -
Got everything crossed for you hun xxxxHappy Wife and Mother :-) DD is 7 bump is due in July and DH is 40.0

Fingers crossed for w/doodle
It must be such a difficult time for you.0 -
Hope you get good news on Friday Wangdoodle.
I am spotting today and temp dropped this morning so looks like another cycle where I am out.....I would be 11dpo today according to my calculation (although FF thinks I am on 9DPO)
12 cycles now of actively trying, 29 with no contraception.....:o
Just moved me and OH to a new doctors so will be going to see them in a couple weeks to get ball rolling for testing....:cool:Now a SAHM trying to earn some spare pennies each month0 -
Fingers crossed for you Wangdoodle, sounding hopeful right now, really hoping it was just random break through bleeding for you xxxxBaby on board - EDD 29th Sept0

wangdoodle - with my experience from when I was bleeding/in pain in my first pregnancy. If the test line had got fainter or hcg levels dropped then it would indicate a miscarriage. If the line is getting darker/hcg levels rising then it sounds as though you are pregnant. I was told the only way they could tell if the pregnancy was ectopic was to do a scan but it depends how far along you are as to whether they will be able to see anything so they may have to wait to do that.
I'm one of the positive outcomes, the doctors were convinced I was having an ectopic pregnancy but when I was sent for the scan everything was as it should be. I know this isn't the case for everyone, but I'll keep my fingers crossed all goes well for you. x0 -

Wang, if you want any more info about hcg levels in developing and ending pregnancies, feel free to send me a PM. I've had more early pregnancy blood tests than hot meals - it has gone both ways for me.
Keeping my fingers crossed for you
