My best friends uncle has been battling pancreatic cancer for about 4 years.

He fought it once and went into remission. Then, about June-July tine last year, he had recurrence and was told that it was terminal, and was given 3-6 months. He had radiotherapy and somehow managed to go back into remission.

Today he was told that it is back again and has been given a "life expectancy" of 3 months :(

I'm hoping he can kick it back into remission again but I don't know this time. He is such a lovely, lovely person.

    The C word is such a C word :(:(:(

Once her scar is no longer painful to touch she could try Bio oil. Its sometimes on offer in Mr Shoes - friend has had very good results :)

Thanks, we have some already but she is a nightmare to try and get her to rub it in. Same trying to get her to take vit supplements to help with healing.

We have to keep on for her to do strengthening exercises too and this would help with blood flow to the injured area. Teenage nightmare at times!

For Blackpool people - our big, shiny new Tesco Extra has LOADS of the 3V cards in stock (even after I'd bought a 'few').

For everyone - if, like me, you use Tesco Value refill kits for your printer ink, they currently offer 100 extra points on TDirect. £4 in rewards for a £5 purchase I was going to make next week anyway.

May I be stupid and ask what are 3v cards....

TS sorry that the news for your dd is not better but please don't blame yourself. I did this with my ds sporting injury and it makes things extra hard. You sound like a lovely Mum and incouraging sports is a really good thing to do. So many kids are left to hang around streets and not given any encouragement with any hobbies and pastimes xx
Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.

Looks like Achica are wiping accounts. I can only access my original one that I opened up a few years ago and the order history has been wiped on that one. The others no longer exist. :(

Same here. So looks like our orders are not being fulfilled. I hope they reimburse my money back I paid on my original account :(

I hope so too for your friend's uncle. My mum fought it several times before the end. She very much lived with the cancer in her the last 3 years. :A
