To be fair guys it doesn't make a difference whether he's in flat 8 or not. What matters is whether or not his WiFi network has been compromised.
Of course it makes a difference as the answer to that one simple question could easily determine if the op actually has a problem or not.
If flat 8 is lived in by someone else then it sounds like the op is simply picking up the signal from their router but if they live in flat 8, the op's router may well have been compromised.
It would also be extremely useful to know if the op is still accessing the internet using their ipad and the suspect router. If they are then it's unlikely that the router security has been breeched or changed.0

Even if the OP lives in flat 8, it could be somebody else's network that he's picking up. As I said, it's irrelevant whether he's in flat 8 or not.
It could be some teens who live in another flat that think it's funny or something. What will your verse be?

It is not irrelevant at all. The OP has been using this iPad for two years and it will automatically connect to their own network after first setup. It is not necessary to go to network settings to connect each time!
The OP has stated that they can't get online now with their iPad now (the reason for posting) and why would they mention "Someone has put as a Network : FLAT8-ARE-!!!!!!S then there is a padlock for me to click on" if it wasn't relevant? To use this network they would obviously need to enter the correct passphrase for that network. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

The OP said "When I go to settings and choose a network. Someone has put as a Network : FLAT8-ARE-!!!!!!S then there is a padlock for me to click on."
He's not saying that "FLAT8-ARE-!!!!!!S" is his network, just that it shows up in the list of networks when he goes to choose a network.
I'm not deliberately trying to be argumentative here, I just think that the off topic discussion of whether the OP lives at no. 8 or not isn't doing any good.
"FLAT8-ARE-!!!!!!S" may or may not be his network that somebody has renamed, but whether or not he actually lives at no. 8 is neither here nor there. If he lives at no. 42 they could still rename his network to "FLAT8-ARE-!!!!!!S." If he lives at no. 8, somebody else could name their own network to "FLAT8-ARE-!!!!!!S."
So it really has no bearing on the matter at hand; whether or not his router has been compromised.
Something does seem to have changed if his iPad no longer connects to his WiFi network automatically, but his address has nothing to do with that. What will your verse be?
