Has anyone got a George Forman grill?

  • Hi!

I have a Gordon Ramsey one which is similar and always use reusable non stick cooking liners in mine, similar to the bags you can use in your toaster, it's made from the same stuff. I bought three liners in p**ndland for £1 each lol and have used them loads of times. I also use them in the oven.

That way there's no mess, just a quick wipe once used. I love mine and use it regularly.

    Cheers

Clean carefully with a scourer whilst hot.

Had one but draining all that fat takes away the taste, I find lol

I clean our George Foreman grill whilst it is still hot. Much easier to clean than leaving it to go cold.
Thanks for the tip CTFG. I will try the non stick cooking liners in my baking trays. I have been using grease proof paper.

It's a pleasure. I also used grease proof paper until I found these ;) I also use the toaster pockets, also cheap in PL for making toasties and occasionally use the toaster pockets for toasting other things and have cooked fish fingers in them too lol!

Damp bit of kitchen roll whilst it's still hot, close it with that spread out inside, when you come back after eating it just wipes clean :) I live off mine!

I love mine and use it regularly. I find it easier to clean than pans and baking trays. But I do clean it as soon as I take the cooked food off it.
Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.

    These can be handy.

I find with the George foreman that the temperature varies between models and some burn easier than others.

You can get ones with a temperature dial.

    I love them

We have an old(8 years or so) double plate model
one half flat and one with a griddle and lid
Use it regularly, its finally wearing out with the non stick coming away on the flat plate
never really had an issue cleaning it
