Gosh - ours in mild by comparison to most of these! A sign went up in the newly refurbed ladies loo "please do not stand on the toilet seats!". Was totally confused until I found out several ladies had been caught standing on the seats (causing them to break) so they could look in the mirror on the wall above the sinks
I am guilty of this, although no signs have gone up in our work....yet!!0 -
I cannot believe how common poo-smearing is! What is wrong with people?! _pale_
I am gobsmacked - I thought you meant it was smeared around the toilet where it had landed - didn't for one minute think you meant on the walls!! We don't find that here and I work in a nursery.0 -

I was just thinking the same - what could possibly happen to someone that they think "I'll know, I'll just smear poo everywhere, that's perfectly acceptable" ???

Yes it is, but it's a recognised symptom of psychological problems in children, so I'd guess the same is true with adults.
We had to deal with it very occasionally in school. Because we had help from caretaking /ancillary staff, the child involved was always identified, enabling the underlying causes to be addressed.0 -

The ones we* had to deal with were the walls and even the ceiling in one case
*When I say 'we' dealt with - I called a guy on site and he then moaned at me for the next 6 months about the kind of work I was sending him through :rotfl:.0 -

I can't help but think this indicates a major design flaw in the bathroom. I'd put up a sign in response - 'please provide ladders for the mirrors'.0 -
I think the weirdest one I've had where I work now was a really narky message about a can of pepsi max...when the sender had 12 more in the fridge!
Where I used to work we always got emails about missing forks, at least 3 times a week!************************************

We had poo smearers in my old office too! And a 'bogey artist'. Who knew it was so common?!0

I'm totally confused by this now... Why would anyone need to look in the mirror while still in the toilet? Can't they just use the mirror while washing their hands afterwards? Or am I missing something?? :huh:0
