Well I didn't expect this time last year to be saying that the cash ISA allowance for 2015/16 will be £15240!

I did think whether to use 'cash ISA' when writing it actually as obviously now cash ISA allowance = ISA allowance (= NISA allowance) = S&S ISA allowance. I was just making the point that I didn't expect to be saying that the cash ISA allowance which was going up to £5940 this time last year is now going up to £15240 (assuming no-one thought that CPI inflation would be 256.6%!).
