Fire Safety Update

I sadly wouldn't care. The danger has been pointed out to them. If they choose to ignore it then it's there own fault.
So if someone close to you was a customer in the shop and died and then you found out that someone knew about the fire exit being blocked but "didn't care" - that would be alright?0 -
I am just not that bothered about anyone else's is. They've been told the danger and they choose to ignore it. It's not my job to enforce fire regulations onto other businesses.
No it's the business of the fire brigade or local council. Which is why they should be informed.
How far does this 'none of my business guv' attitude of yours go? If you saw some adult beating a child with a stick every day would you inform social services or just "mention it to tell the person they shouldn't do it" and go merrily on your way knowing it was nothing to do with you?0 -
I would tell the local Fire Brigade NOW!
Just imagine a shop full of customers & staff, a lorry smashes into the front of the shop and catches fire - where are all those people going to go if the fire exit is blocked? You could be one of them.0 -

Don't be ridiculous.
I realise this is a forum that is populated by people who love to get involved with any minor breach of law they spot. Therefore I accept I'm rowing against the tide.
Still it strikes me of something not worth getting bothered about.0 -

Slightly different example. Parking in front of a fire exit is nothing like seeing someone abuse a child. Still it's good to see you're taking in interest!
My wife works for social services (although she's working her notice as she's sick of it). I would just tell her!0 -
I don't want to be labelled as a nosey parker but I have been in a fire and it is terrifying. If a fire broke out in one of the fridges or freezers near the front of the shop, members of the public and employees may well run to the back but there would be no way out.
230 people died in a night club fire in Brazil for this very reason.Je suis sabot...0 -

This has nothing to do with the law - it's a concern for other people's safety - or even Hoof Hearted's own safety if he/she uses the shop.0 -
If anyone here is being ridiculous, that would be you.Don't be ridiculous.I realise this is a forum that is populated by people who love to get involved with any minor breach of law they spot.
I would hope most forums would be populated by people who would not be so irresponsible as to tell someone not to bother reporting a regularly blocked fire exit.
You're rowing against the tide because you appear to be a rather unpleasant sociopath. Therefore I accept I'm rowing against the tide.Still it strikes me of something not worth getting bothered about.
That in itself is bad enough. The fact that you seem to be so proud of the fact that you are repeatedly posting and telling everyone is downright weird.0 -

I think he's just trying to determine how far you cavalier disregard for other's well being extends. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 -
