2 bottles of Lush Snow Fairy IN!

    one 250g and one 500g
Savings £8,865.22 £/15,000 Aiming to save enough for a house deposit.
  • Ooon so need me more snow fairy and mine only ran out a month ago:eek: only brought 2 bottles in the sale last year too:money:

A UU Skin Therapy Sensitive sun lotion and no it wasn't sunny here, it was meant to be so I applied the last dregs to any bit of skin that might see some sun! WBA this is my favorite except Loreal which costs a fortune, rubs in well and doesn't sting my skin.
Debt free and busy treating myself:)

No more toiletries/make up until I've used what I've got stashed since Jan 2011, graduated October 2012. Restocked Dec 13..damn those sales
  • Ops just ordered me the 2 steamcreams for 12.95 on the Grabbit Board, obviously not INs yet but I really didn't need them but love this as its so multi use and great for nights away to cut down on products:money:

Tossed out a Cargo "almost waterproof" mascara. I think it was making my eyelashes fall out. OK, I just didn't like it. Replaced from the never ending stash of mascaras.

Failed miserably at Sephora today. Went in to treat the son's gf to a new blusher to cheer her up and left with two Clinque Christmas sets, the black honey one and a set of two chubby sticks. They could be used as Christmas gifts...

I think that I have managed to convince myself:rotfl:, I would use everything in this set apart from the Eyebright, which I get a reaction from, BUT would not even start using any of it until at least 2015:eek:, so bearing in mind Christmas is on the way and toiletries might come my way I am being strong!

I wasn't even aware of this kit until this morning so maybe that's a good thing as this is the kind of kit I would have bought. Love all the items in it apart from the Eyebright but would have used this in any case. Thing is that I've been receiving emails from LE recently offering free p&p but haven't ordered cos we have plenty of C&P, probably enough IBST to last until Christmas and a tub of Skin Repair unopened (Emma "gifted" to me two moisturisers recently that I'll use as night creams before I open it anyway). So maybe my head is back in this challenge??

Even the YC TSV has left me feeling underwhelmed. I've got into the habit of writing on my new calendar each year on the December page what stash of YC I have put in the loft so will check this before I buy anything but must try not to watch. Do want to scrub the bathroom down today though so that should keep me occupied and away from the TV.

So have another UU to report : Champneys citrus blush hand lotion. WBA. It was lovely although I do prefer Molten Brown White Mulberry and am going to buy a bottle of this when I need a new hand cream/lotion at home which may be soon as I've now brought my L'occitane Lavender hand cream home. It's now rolled up in a L'Occitane key so won't be long before it's gone. I went through my stash yesterday morning to replace the hand cream at work and only have one bottle of Elemis Nourishing Hand cream left which again I'm pleased about as the stash has kept me going all year with the odd supplementation from L'occitane mag/instore freebies. Do have some mini tubes left but want to keep them for either stocking fillers or for my handbag.

Have some INs to report as well:-

Was wandering through Stockport yesterday and had one of those real angel/demon moments whilst passing TBS. I'm sorry but can anyone seriously not consider buying a 200ml tub of body butter reduced from £12.00 to a fiver?? Sometimes I can as the fragrances are usually ones I wouldn't use but yesterday they had added the Chocomania one to the sale so bought one of those. I did battle with my conscience a little trying to reason that I do have two x 200ml tubs in my stash plus a full set of Boots Extracts mini tubs. I ended up justifying it to the SA that I was buying it for Emma. Who am I kidding? I am nearly at the bottom of the Honeymania one though.

Also I was at the hairdressers on Thursday having my colour redone and have ordered a bottle of restorer and thermal spray from him which I'll pick up this week. Think I need to ditch most of the products I've been putting in my hair as it has gone really wiry and fuzzy again.

Last but not least my best wishes to Sundaysgirl and her partner. Enjoy your pyjama day. Not sure that I want to get dressed today either. Not going anywhere so maybe I won't.

Take care everyone and enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

  • Sundaysgirl, hope your OH is OK, and they figured out what was wrong with him!

    OUT - face wipes
    IN - face wipesx2

I was hoping I had just enough for a long weekend, and hoped to get away without replacing them, but that would have been too convenient.
  • Hope your OH is feeling better today Sundaysgirl.

We had a very early start this morning by an excited DD as its her birthday. I am trying to summon some energy to endure the noise from the party at 4.

    UU

Ultradex Mouthwash - WNBA - came with a flavour sachet that I had to be added, despite shaking before each use the flavour sank to the bottom so really only had a mint taste for the last mouthful.

Essential care face wash mini - DD used this was OK but nothing special and the fragrance wasnt very pleasant.

Clarins everlasting foundation nude - WMBA this was a good colour match for my skin and provided good coverage without the mask effect of EL double wear. Did occasionally settle in creases however. I have a part used Clarins extra firming in the same shade so will try this next to see if I prefer it.

    Ins:
Philosophy granny's apply pie shower gel
    Philosophy raspberry glazed shower gel
No excuse I just wanted to try philosophy shower gel.

5 from a childrens gift set given to DD
    No more buying toiletries

    Hi all.

Have returned from a weekend away a day earlier because of the impending storm. We were caravanning and I didn't fancy staying over in the storm then driving home in gales tomorrow. Shame as it was the last trip away for this year.

    Had a uu

No7 4 in 1 Wipes - I only use these when away from home as a first cleanse but WBA for that purpose.

It's been a little while! I had my exam on the 8th and have been a busy bee since... put an offer on a flat, celebrating, new boyf in my life etc etc. Just catching up on the thread now :)

    INs:
    1. OPI Don't Pretzel My Buttons - I just love this shade! Was thinking of all the nail polish lovers on this thread when buying this... Does anyone else have this shade? Any other nude shades recommended?
    2. Sanctuary Spa - 250ml Body Lotion, Body Wash, Body Scrub - Gift from a friend

    UU:
    1. Bioderma Crealine Yeux Gel-Creme 15ml - a nice eye gel, WPBA
    2. Pantene Naturalez Shampoo - used up a few bits at my parents house, WNB myself as felt quite drying
    3. Essential Rich Premier Honey & Shea Butter Conditioner 200ml - WBA and highly recommend this range if you can get hold of it!
    4. Korres Fig Shower Gel 250ml - more of a deep male scent, probably WNBA
    5. Korres Lemon Basil Shower Gel 250ml - WBA, I just love this!
    6. Vichy Calming Cleansing Micellar Water 200ml - great stuff and not drying, WBA
    7. Liz Earle Botanic Shine Shampoo 200ml - WBA, but prefer Philip Kinglsey for my hair
    8. Balance Me Super Toning Body Wash 100ml - magazine freebie, probably WNB full price - nothing special
    9. Neals Yard Citrus Handwash 250ml - WBA, lovely smell and consistency
    10. Clarins Extra Comfort Cleansing Cream 200ml - WNBA, didn't feel it was anything special although quite softening
    11. Philip Kinglsey Elasticizer 20ml - WBA, love this stuff and have a 500ml size waiting
    12. Dove Beauty Blossom Cream 150ml - WBA, nice scent and compact packaging for travel

    Weekend OUTS

14 - Lush Lord of Misrule ballistic (in and out) lol. Flippin gorgeous!
15 - Bad gal liner, fake from ebay, chucked
16 - Nivea spf 50 sensitive sun lotion. Too sticky to use as body lotion, though I tried, and spfs degrade so...out it goes!
    Cookie, I think you're tame. :heart2:
