    Hello everyone,

I joined this challenge back in April (I think) but haven't really posted over the past few months but the challenge has always been there in the back of my mind.

I haven't bought anything until I've almost run out. In fact for one week I used Hubby's deodrant as I'd run out before payday ;)

I've been lucky that I've had quite a few trials for B00ts for body lotion, BB cream, lip balm (it was awful stuff!) and shower gel which have helped my stash last so long without the need to buy.

Currently down to my last body lotion - Harding & Bayliss moonlight lavender in a big tub. Really don't like it whatsoever, was a pressie from MIL. It's the kind of thing your very old granny might like ;)

Been very good today (where is the halo smiley?), visited a bigger town (not difficult as this one is delightful, but weeny), had a trawl around TKM*X, S*perdrug and a very quick sprint through D*benhams, and only came home with nail polish remover pots - needed and a Lippie - also needed:j
Didn't buy any clothes either and M*S did not have the Christmas lights that I wanted, but did get Mr MM to choose something as his birthday present, so all in all still counts as a successful outing.

    Hi ladies

I've had an eventful 24 hours, late night call to say OH was being taken to hospital after collapsing, spent the intervening time there whilst they ran a whole load of tests. So worrying :( He's home now, and feeling much better but rather sore from his fall so is having a soak in the tub. So UU:

    27. Aveda Stress Fix Soaking Salts 60g - I don't usually bathe but if I did I WBA as I love the scent of these - as does OH :)

    And INs:

7-8. Sure Crystal APD 250ml - needed soon and were on offer
    9. Sure Max Deo - needed ish, I think I prefer this to sprays, really effective even through intense gym sessions!

I wasn't planning to buy these this month but had a threshold spend voucher for Ts and needed to up my spend to use it.

Evening! I had banned myself from buying anything else until at least December, but I have another IN to declare, in my defence it was something I ordered last week before I re-banned myself and had forgotten about :o

There was a glitch that you could order anything from a certain set of items and get a free goody bag worth £19, turns out it's actually worth £21.17 :D I only paid £9.50 for the first item, the rest were in the free goody bag....

    INs

Rituals Mild Eye Make-Up Remover 125ml
Rituals T'ai Chi Foaming Shower Gel 50ml
The Organic Pharmacy Antioxidant Face Gel 2ml
    Givenchy Noir Couture Mascara 2g
Philosophy The Microdelivery Face Scrub 30ml
Balance Me Moisture Rich Face Cream 20ml

Other INs purchased before the ban, and on glitches too....

    Dior Diorific Lipstick 039 Lady
    Dior Addict Lipstick 991 Perfecto
    Bio Oil Large Bottle 200ml x 3

    NBIs from eBay stash....

    No7 Airbrush Away Primer
    No7 Extreme Length Mascara Black
No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow Amethyst Shimmer
No7 Stay Perfect Eyeshadow Muted Mauve

I also GA a Boots 17 Doll'd Up Mascara, I gave the wand a good clean so it can be used by someone else. This did nothing for me, I think it was because I picked up Brown/Black and not Black by mistake  Oh well, I had an advantage card voucher so only paid £2 anyway!

Right! Strictly cold turkey in November, though there are 6 more days of October so I hope I can hold out!!:eek::eek:

Batiste Deep & Dark Brown - WMBA - used to consider this a HG but its still a bit too light for my hair and I get that white effect unless I rub it in really well, as I wash my hair every other day, I don't really have cause to use this much

I have black hair and use the normal one, I've found you need to shake it a LOT to get rid of the white, once you do it's fine, hth.

I got sent some perfume, that D&G The One 'Desire'? Soooo glad I didn't pay for it, it had a distinct whiff of cat wee about it on me, seems I'm in the minority as most people seem to rave about it!

Weleda Sea Buckthorn body lotion - just a mini from a beauty box, I WNBA, there is nothing wrong with it but I'm sure it will be pricey compared to other things I prefer, it also has a very sweet, sherbet fragrance.[/QUOTE]

I UU this today and was trying to think of ways to describe the smell ..... thanks you nailed it. I WNBA found it didnt really rub in either just clumped in patches.
