I have OCEANS of shower gel and facial wash. I would have to wash an elephant a day to use this stuff up, then smother it with body butter and night cream to use that up too!
But I can't help the big offers - so now i can add Dior Waterproof Mascara to the dozens I already have as freebies from Clinique, as well as (yes you've guessed it) two facial washes!
I did repurposed a shower gel (Original Source Pink Grapefruit) as a handwash - then realised I hadn't run out.
Feeling a bit overwhelmed with it at the moment - I've spent so much money on stuff that really is OK, but not amazing - all in the name of bargains.
And I even gave in to Bonus Time at Debenhams - with extra points - to buy a Chubby Stick eyeshadow (love these but have loads of stuff to use up) and sensibly Superdefense cream - which is a HG.
I shall overcome - honest!
I'm exactly the same, in the last few years there have been so many offers I have felt I have to take advantage of them but there is always another one so the stash just grows and grows. If things ever go back to how they were with bonus times and occasional offers I would stop buying so much.
I have two uu
Sanctuary Thermal Detox Face Mask - WNBA, the thermal bit is just a gimmick and the mask didn't do much either plus it is incredibly thick and hard to get out of the tube.
Naked Coco de Mer bubble bath - 300ml, was OK but I wouldn't rush out to buy again, still have the shower cream and body butter to use up.Debt Free and now a saver, conscious consumer, low waste lifestyler

Afternoon ladies. Have a few UU to report -
157: Thierry Mugler Angel Shower Gel - WBA, love this perfume. Still have body lotion and perfume left.
158: Percy & Reed Hair Oil - WBA
159: Ghost Sweetheart perfume 50ml - WBA, used up the dregs of this after the conversation on here about not using certain things up properly. This had been hanging around for a while and had gone all oily and weird. Still smelt nice though :rotfl:0 -

Were they soaps that you had made?
Howverydareyou! What are you suggesting?!(Alas, you are probably a bit nearer than I would care to admit! :rotfl:)
And yes, I had made them. It was my first time ever, so they didn't look too good, but they were lovely to use - very silky to wash my mitts with!Yes OOwl, I need to do this! Less project pan and more just UUU (urgent UUs) :rotfl:
Ooh, I like the idea of UUUs: thing near/past their sell-by date.

A mid-afternoon bath (yes, I'm decadent, but it was a reward for working hard!) got rid of three Lush bits:
37. Mysterious pink bath bomb - WBA, it was lovely, but I can't! It is either discontinued, or never made it to shops, or something? It smelled lovely and turned the water a deep raspberry pink
38. So White bath bomb (small) - WBA, and intend to have some Christmas ins of this. A favourite, used today to add some depth to the small pink bath bomb.
39. Rose Jam bubbleroon - WBA, another favourite! Rose bubbles seemed like a good idea with that pink water! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries in January!UU: 5, IN: 2Total Stash: 99 - ultimate target 33 (year start 99)0 -

Hello all!Sundaysgirl wrote: »23. No7 Quick Thinking wipes x 30 - WBA when on offer, these are moister than most and find that they are good at removing all of my makeup with no residue, unlike many others I've tried. I prefer a proper cleansing routine for daily use though.
A No7 consultant gave me a whole spiel about how you need to use a proper cleanser not just wipes, yet I find their cleansing water to be completely useless and their wipes to be fantastic! I can cleanse twice with the water and still be removing stuff with a wipe (I prefer to finish with a wipe as the water is quite drying), yet if I cleanse twice with the wipes, the water removes nothing else!
Proves what I've always thought, wipes ARE better on my skin!rosemary54 wrote: »1 uu a Richard Ward spray sold on flea bay, when the payment came through I noticed ebay are now saying send items by trackable post!how can this make sense with a £4.50 hair spray!!!!
The trouble is people won't pay for trackable postage and now that they're taking fees from postage as well, it's becoming less and less worthwhile bothering on ebay at all!
I hope the item got there ok, I didn't think you were allowed to send aerosols anymore....No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

Just wanted to say I know how you feel! I have SO much shower gel!
We can do this though..slow and steady. First step is admitting you have a problemnow we are dealing with it. I am still in shock at my stash list though, what am I going to do with all my SOAP??! It lasts forever!
It takes ages to write your list I think I spent about 10 hours discovering things and compiling my list. I would love to see your, mine is going down especially since learning to repurpose things. Soap I seem to get through quite well but for some strange reason I actually enjoy washing my hands. I use the last bits of a soap as hand wash for clothes and use it to make laudry gloop which hasw made such a difference,
Shower gels and shampoos are very good for cleaning. I use them to clean the bathroom, I can easily get through a bottle in a month from just cleaning the sink, bath and floor. I use it for hand washing and that uses quite a bit. I have used it for washing down glossy work, black pots, I might even use it to wash the window frames.
I have discovered a new company I would love to try (bath/ body products) and have over the weekend created 3 different baskets and deleted them each time. I seem to think bath/ body products not as a product but as a collection and I "collect" stuff. My frends laugh at how organised I am with each in a draw or box, labelled, I know where everything is ( well most anyway)
UU's
So white bath ballistic WBA when they are on sale if lush have one this year.
BS spiced pumpkin shower gel 250ml WBA shame that they never bought this out again would have loved to have some more.

BS spiced vanilla hand cream WNBA loved the scent but not as effective as others I prefer. Still have 1 more of these.
