It is strange that only the back of my head itches and never the top.
I just wondered if you sleep on your back?
Have you considered that it may be what you use to wash your pillowcase in? Or perhaps bedbugs in your pillow?
Seems odd that it only the back of your head that is affected.0 -
Just caught up on 9 pages! Enjoyed reading though.
Loads of things that I wanted to comment on but thought it would be too complicated to try and quote them all. Well done to people doing and passing exams! :T
Like the idea of project pan/targeting things to UU and enjoyed reading all the lists. I am also one of those people who holds on to the last little bit of things, particularly with perfume and make up. I have about 4-5 perfumes with hardly anything in that I can't bring myself to throw away. Ridiculous as I could just make a note of my favourite ones and then repurchase at some point. I think a number of the bottles may now be completely empty where the last little bit of perfume has evaporated :rotfl:
I'm moving house very soon though so think I am going to make myself UU or throw away anything that hardly has anything in or that I haven't used in a long time.
Glad people had good holidays too. I have just returned from holiday so here are my UUs and some TAs as I needed to get rid of some of the weight in my suitcase:rotfl: plus a lot of these were stash relics -
136 - Charles Worthington Takeaways Sunshine Shampoo 75ml
137 - Charles Worthington Takeaways Sunshine Conditioner 75ml - still have some of these left to use for future holidays. WNBA though, not moisturising enough for my hair.
138 - Boots Sun Swim and Gym Masque 150ml - WNBA, a real relic. Ended up TA as didn't really use it.
139 - Boots Repel Pump Spray 120ml - still have loads of these left to use too. Kind of did the job but not great.
140 - Simple Sun Sensitive Facial SPF25 75ml - ok but probably WNBA, want to try the La Roche Posay facial suncream when I next go on holiday.
141 - Boots Soltan SPF15 Sun Cream 75ml - WBA, did the job. Handy size too.
142 - Benefit Refined finish facial polish mini - WNBA, don't like face scrubs really.
143 - Benefit Eyecon - WNBA, has been discontinued anyway. This was a real LHJ and I really really didn't like it. It didn't make any difference to my eyes whatsoever and also stung my eyes when I used it  persevered with it for so long but decided to throw away the last of it when on holiday. I have another Benefit eye cream in the stash that was a gift, hope it is better that this one. Rant over!
144 - Boots Vitamin E Moisture Lotion 100ml - WNBA, gave up with this one too. Think it did the job well enough but gave up on it a while back so decided to throw away.
145 - Clinique Even Better Eyes Dark Circle Corrector 10ml - WNBA, sold this on ebay. Bought a few months back, felt I was pushed into buying it by the lady on the counter. Tried it twice and didn't seem to do anything for my dark circles.
Now onto my UUs I am targeting for before I move -
- Herbal Essences Seductively Straight Shampoo 400ml
- The Body Shop Satsuma Soap
- Sanctuary Salt Scrub 60g
- Thierry Mugler Angel Shower Gel
- Ralph Lauren Romance Shower Gel 100ml
These are all things that are nearly UU anyway or that have been hanging around for a while.
Also need to focus my UU efforts on UU everything in the freezer and cleaning products!0 -

A lot of money spent in their Cheltenham shop, for example, will have been generated via something they are attacking, the sport of horse-racing.
It's the same thing as when Lush sponsored the Hunt Saboteurs Association; I am actually against hunting with dogs as a sport, but the HSA have got up to some very nasty things in their own right, and been prosecuted for criminal activities. Lush stopped making 'Fantastic Mr Fox' and I was a happy bunny, then it all kicked off again with the horse racing. They appear to have shut up a bit on this front, so I may yet return.
Ah yes I remember you saying now cuz we chatted a bit about it, I thought this was something else they had done regarding shampoo bars that's why I askedDon't turn a slip up into a give up

Can anyone recommend an alternative to the percy and reed no oil hair oil for fine hair? I am considering either buying another mini off ebay or the full size which is about £15. Would be good to hear about alternatives though.
I have fine hair but a lot of it. It can be very frizzy in the heat or if there is any moisture in the air.
Thanks everyone0 -

I'm also really concerned about the discon list, I can't find one anywhere on the internet, any chance of a heads up?
I have finished up number 29, The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Body Butter. I WBA, loved the scent, although it's a little lighter texture than normal body butter!
If I get any clue...I will let you know, but your friends at the store will probably know same time as me. I just look at what's not selling to get some idea, but I can only look at our store so sometimes if things are great sellers in Leeds/London then they won't get discontinued.
I get an uncomfortable feeling that some of the EB range might be going...which goes against why we introduced it really :-/Don't turn a slip up into a give up

Along these lines I have decided to do a Project Pan, I am sure many of you have heard of it but if you haven't it works like this:
select a number of products (usually 10) that you want to use up and you can't buy anything new until these are finished. I have picked out 10 items , I haven't chosen things that are about to be used up, no sachets and I won't waste or throw anything away. My 10 items are:
1. Dove Body Silk - almost full
2. Bare Minerals Primer - about 1/3 left but last forever
3. Bare Minerals Original Foundation in Light - 2g
4. Guinot Mask Essential - about 1/2 left
5. Body Shop Spiced Vanilla hand cream
6. Mitchum Stick Deo
7. Avon Far Away Perfume - 30ml
8. Philosophy Hot Buttered Rum shower gel
9. Body Shop Vitamin C Day Cream
10. No7 Hot Cloth Cleanser
When all of these have gone I will buy a little treat. Anyone else in?
This sounds like great idea although it's brought me out in a chill as well!!
Only skim read most of the thread but good to see everyone in good spirits.
Have 2 UUs to report:-
L'Occitane Jasmine and Bergamot body lotion WBA although will wait until I've got through some more of the body butters etc in stash.
TA: Smashbox Infamous Lip Gloss. Tried to use it this morning but got nothing on the wand so out it goes.
Have bought some INs again this week and think I need to stop going out shopping with Emma!!
Bought 2 x soap from The Soap Shop that's newly opened in Stockport, also bought 2 x Marie Clare for the handcreams. Keeping violet one for me (in my handbag already) and jasmine one for a stocking filler for Christmas. Also bought eye make up remover from Sainsbury's - think it's their own organic range as I can't be bothered waiting for the Bioderma to come back into stock at Birchbox.
Have had a busy time again recently. Saw Russell Brand at Manchester Apollo last Wednesday and visited another college with Emma on Saturday. I was really impressed by it and want her to go. Luckily she has a Taster day there in a couple of weeks so am hoping she is won over then.
Also on Saturday we were offered eyebrow shaping for £5.00 by MrM's cousin who has started work in a local salon. Have booked us in again next weekend for a pedicure and manicure each.Back for the No Buying Toiletries challenge. I pledge to only buy when I run out of a product that is not already in my stash no matter what wonderful emails land in in my Inbox or threads I read on MSE re: glitches!

Thank you,
I sleep on my front.
Pillows were new a couple of months ago.
Washing powder not got a problem with.
No bedbugs.
But you did get me thinking and I think it maybe because my hair is usually up during the day so my hair is at its thickest at the back.0 -

See when you say that, I'm thinking maybe a head rest?
My glossybox finally arrived. 2 products going straight in the eBay box, and I'm going to try and shift that next week (11 outs if o do sell it). All in, that's 5 INs, and I'm glad I've stopped it for a while - I keep getting sent very similar items. I now have about 7 facial moisturers, which is enough to last me about 2 years!0
