Lord of misrule is great isnt it?! :)
The ginger shampoo sounds really nice. I get quite a sensitive scalp too, I use blousey but it makes my hair quite oily, and soak and float which I don't like the smell that much. Have you tried either of those? If the ginger shampoo is better I can see an IN coming my way... :-D

Why the huff? Are they planning on discontinuing it? i know there is a HUGE disconn list coming but I have no clue what will be on it really :(
Good luck with using it up, they take FOREVER! :)

Yes Lord of Misrule is lovely and great scent. Have another in stash.
I have used soak and float but I can't use lush's shampoo pucks as they make my scalp itch and I really don't like the scent of soak and float. I have tried blousey but at £1 a hair wash and it really did little for my hair. I do like the ginger shampoo and it seems the only one that my scalp can get on with. Even then I coconut oil my scalp atleast once a week to stop it itching. It is strange that only the back of my head itches and never the top.

I am waiting for the discontinued list, I have an idea of what will be on it. I do hope lush release some new products and hopefully some new scents that are not sweet. The Christmas range had disappointed me this year especially with all the products released having the same scents as current range. There are no new bubble bars either which surprised me, I still have bubble beard from last Christmas to try/ use. Even twilight that I love the scent of has only been released as another bath ballistic which I really don't get, yet they have put the scent of honey I washed the kids into fun and a ballistic.

SAME!! I wonder why that is...
Do you use alot of blousey when you wash? I try not to as it is pricey even with a discount. I love the smell of it though.

I know what you mean, I love the design of the products, they're really cute, but I was disappointed with the scents being the same, I just love exciting new scents!!
I think its because we get SO many customers who come in all year round who are looking for Xmas products they were given and we can't offer them an alternative to leave with, so they often leave empty handed...So thats why they have used all-year-round scents in the Xmas products so that we can send customers off with something with the smae smell therefore making them become regulars.
I can see what they are doing from a business perspective but its not what we all fell in love with lush for and it is a shame in some respects.
Still...at least there are some lovely new smells. And there are rumours of new products next year :j

My Lush huff was over their stance on handing out anti-horse racing leaflets, it's a sport that not everyone will agree with, but they have no place in commenting on it. A lot of money spent in their Cheltenham shop, for example, will have been generated via something they are attacking, the sport of horse-racing.

It's the same thing as when Lush sponsored the Hunt Saboteurs Association; I am actually against hunting with dogs as a sport, but the HSA have got up to some very nasty things in their own right, and been prosecuted for criminal activities. Lush stopped making 'Fantastic Mr Fox' and I was a happy bunny, then it all kicked off again with the horse racing. They appear to have shut up a bit on this front, so I may yet return.

Maddie, good luck with the cycle, it sounds great. I have used A!di's cheap and cheerful Q10 cream with SPF15 for ages, it protects me really well when cycling. Not sure how it would go on a sensitive skin but at £1.49 it's worth a try.

Two great ideas, thank you KADISON and AND, I can drop into Aldi easily and try that first, if it is not successful I can add it to the small mountain of other creams that will have to be used on hands, feet or legs, my shins get a bit dry and can take a thicker cream than I would use on the rest of my bod:(

There are two places at top of cheek bones, under eyes, that seem to react badly to a number of things, it is a bit of a minefield finding products that don't cause flare-ups, when I am more stash free and shopping again I will try more BS skin care, as they will kindly let me slather the potential purchase on the affected area and go off and get a coffee while I see if it is OK. I can do the same with Dept Store brands and Lush, but it is a bit of a jaunt to these stores, so don't go very often. I love living in a small town, but there are disadvantages.

after years of colouring my hair and wondering how to go grey gracefully it now seems to be just happening!I dyed it my usual mid brown beforew we went to California(wish I was back there in the sunshine!) and it faded to a light golden brown, now the grey roots are coming through but seem to blend quite nicely so have two unopened boxes of hair dye in the stash which probably will not use again:(only problem seems to be the lighter colour means clothes that used to suit me well and now the wrong colour for me so will need to go shopping:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

As excited as I am by what there is, I was kind of hoping for a few new things...
I'm also really concerned about the discon list, I can't find one anywhere on the internet, any chance of a heads up?

I have finished up number 29, The Body Shop Moroccan Rose Body Butter. I WBA, loved the scent, although it's a little lighter texture than normal body butter!

I think the debate here was triggered by my visit to the Cheltenham store shortly before race week this year - the sales person put an anti-racing leaflet in my bag without asking me that had a horrible image of a racehorse with a broken leg on it. My toddler picked it out of the bag before I knew it was there and was pretty upset as she loves horses. Lush apologised and we got a nice bubble bar for the little one :). I havn't been back to Lush since (trying to get the stash down!) but probably will in the future. It'll be interesting to see what happens during next year's race week.

No big movers for me, slowly but surely and all that... ;)
