Do you plan your weekends?

Yep we plan every weekend.
My OH works every Saturday so after my son has had his swimming lesson we either:
a) meet up with my sister so my 2 children can play with their cousins
b) meet up with friends, again so my childen have company at either the par (weather permitting) or a play centre
c) go to Asda/Sainsburys and go home to do the cleaning etc.
Every Saturday is filled with the above.
Sunday is our only family day so we tend to visit grandparents/parents/do DIY/go for a walk/meet friends. We are rarely in at weekend unless we are exhausted or have jobs to do. I cannot remember the last weekend we had nothing on, but then again we do have children.
Our calendar on Saturdays for the next 3 months is really busy:
October:
5th - Lunch at my sisters with the children
12th - Meeting an old work colleague
19th - My birthday weekend (so OH not working
)
26th - Off to Switzerland for the week for my OH's 40th.
November
2nd - back from Switzerland that weekend
9th - My sisters birthday party and meeting my son's friend and mum for a play date
16th - Free during the day (after swimming lesson) wedding in the evening
22nd - away for the weekend (CHILD FREE YIPEEEEE)
29th November - nothing planned but given the date out to friends to meet up
December
7th - Pantomime in Manchester with all my sisters, mum and nieces/nephews
14th - Christmas party with work - bowling and Chiquitos
21st - Well sorting last few xmas bit out I guess (and being rough after being out the night before)
There you have it, my plans for next 3 months lol0 -
My partner and I usually talk about the things we might do and then pick from the list (or something else that occurs to us) when we see how we feel. So this weekend we might spend some time blitzing his house, go to a local rugby match, or watch F1 (that will happen but not necessarily live). Every other Saturday I go swimming with my (disabled) son.
He is retired and I am semi-retired so errands etc tend to get done during the week. I am pretty active during the week whereas he tends not to be which can cause problems as he's more keen to go out than I am.'Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail. Only those who will risk going too far can possibly find out how far one can go.' T S Eliot0
