I am definately addicted to entering competitions.
    Wins for the past fortnight:

£100 worth of books from Waterstones (Shopping Mall comp)
2 free entry tickets to the Innocent Smoothie Fete in Regent's Park (magazine comp)
Free haricut and blowdry at Indigos (magazine comp)
Shrek ball (comp on this website)

plus quite a few free samples of makeup and skincare
and a tenner off Friday's lottery!

    Keep on comping, it's great fun :j :j :j :j

;) Felines are my favourite ;)

It comes from a different side of comping. When my postman started delivering prizes the prize I didn't expect to get was him ;) :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :shhh: :o:o:o:o

He gets up at 4am and my sleeping is all messed up.

I had to read that twice.

    You got the POSTMAN?

    :j :j :j :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :T :T :T :T

That's hilarious but fabtastic too :D
Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...

I enter as many competitions as I have time to, after all the more you enter the more chances you have of winning something, anything..

Once you start winning the wins start coming in, sometimes slowly and sometimes several at once

I generally enter the ones with prizes that im interested in, the majority of the competitions with junk mail offers, i just put them into my spam folder anyway. I probably enter around 20 a day, call that addictive or obsession is neither here or there to me. Ive got a little spare time, im on MSE anyway, what the heck I might as well try my chances, I probably wont win anyway, but I havent lost anything.

Upto now I have won a couple of things, I won a PS2 from Mcdonalds recently, so in that respect, Ive gained a good £90 game console, from a competition that I didnt even know I was in. Although I havent made many winnings, in so far as 2 years trying, its those moments that make you realise it was worth the punt ;)

I think it depends on what the posts actually say, if it's just "thank you" it's pretty annoying
