  • Same with me - it depends on the title of the post and if i recognise the website. I usually scan through the OP for info and i usually have a look to see if there are other replies saying it's SPAM or something!!

I'm much the same - I tend to go from the title and then a quick scan to make sure it's not spam. I'm really bad at not looking at the t/c's.

I'll read the OP to check I'm not going to win a 7 year stint with the French Foreign Legion or something. Thoroughly is probably a bit strong though.

    I never post here though.

Like others I have a 2 stage process.

1 - is the prize something I'd like to win?

if yes, then click to open, otherwise just ignore.

2 - is the OP someone I trust?

If yes, then I just scan the to see if there is any bold/ coloured text as the OP will highlight anything important.

If no, then read the OP fully, check out the website (especially if its a newbie OP), then decide whether its worth entering.

I will openly admit I told you to shut up :rotfl: I meant it in a nice, jokey way though, only because the other options weren't suitable for me! I do something in between. If it is a post by you or others I trust and the title grabs me, I enter without really reading the post. Other times, I read the post through to check T&C or what others think. I am still quite new and still entering lots of comps, even if it doesn't neccessarily appeal to me. Maybe it would be useful for someone else in my family, or ebay!
