I look at the title first to see whether I want to enter it, then also look at how many replies its had and also the poster its by before entering it!Weight Loss - 102lb0

you had to put the tempting bit on the end didn't you. I was (tempted) and I confess I did sorry. but the truth is both, cause after a while some of them you know what they are going to be and then others are a mystery.
always check for dates if tickets or holiday.
I know that I have not 'met' a nicer bunch of people on any other forum any where.

I do try to lag a bit behind doing comps, and usually read most of the postings ~ I can guarantee that if I am up to the minute with them, they are the ones that I end up entering twice ~ as I don't know a lot of what I've entered, and its too soon for anyone else to have put "check the thanks".0

[Shut up kipper and find us more comps please!] I So Wanted to Click This But Only Coz It Made Me Laugh :rotfl:
I'll click and enter only the comps that interest me, but I tend to click the thanks button first then go back upto the top and read the thread and very occasionally find its a bloody caption/tie-breaker/photo comp, which I'm totally c**p at :rotfl: so end up not entering it afterall.
Like the others if its a regular poster then I would just skim through the thread.
Cheers Kipper :beer:0 -
A bit inbetween for me.
I'll hover my mouse over the title of the thread to see the first post, then if it's something I'd want to win I click into the thread.
Depends whose posted as to whether I skim or read properly.
I usually look out for subscribing to e-mails (tend not to if I can help it) and look out for any highlighted text.
I have been caught out before by not reading following posts and consequently find out it's a comp posted before. so I do tend to read others posts before clicking on links now.0 -
I read the post, and only enter the competition if it is something I would use...no point in entering for the sake of it...it lets someone else have a chance. If you obey all the rules...you miss all the fun!! Katherine Hepburn0
