Does anyboby know of any instant win competitions? not ones where you have to fill in loads of forms???

Firstly I'm a Newbie here, so go easy on me if this isn't the right place to put this thread.

With so many competitions being posted it is easy for things to get lost along the way. I thought it might be an idea to try to find comps ending soon, and so I tried searching by date. However if I enter (for example) 31/07 or 31/7 or "E:31/07" or "E:31/7" the results come back blank. I know there are comps ending on this date, and that there are threads with E: 31/07 in the title, so I'm unsure as to why the search results are coming back with nothing.

Can anyone help? Is there a problem with this search? Is the current date format causing search problems? Would a different format help?

I dont think its possible to search by the end date format. You can search by keywords, by poster or by thread start time or last post time though

nope teh search facility will not let you search by end date. boy would it make my job a lot easier if you could!!!

Might a different date format help? How about "Ends YYYYMMDD"? I have a feeling that the : or the / might be the cause of the problem.

I add them to my favourites on my homepage - obviously you cant do this at work but you could at home (they get added to bottom of list )- especially email entrys then do them all together using my hotmail competition email

Or email the link to yourself to click on later on home.

You could create an ongoing list in notepad/word and just send it at the end of the day.

hi everyone....newbie here!!...sorry if this is in the wrong place....today when i entered a comp...on here..and then closed it i had some thing on the screen from...myoffers.com??....is this a good or bad site??.....i really like MSE ..your all very friendly,helpfull and post loads of comps..easy to navigate too...thankyou.....hope i win something soon.....getting a bit addicted ..only been less tham 2 weeks!!!...anyway ..if some one could advise about the myoffers site.....don,t want to part of something dodgy....

I never bother with myoffers site, havent like it, people might have different opinions of it but I wouldnt bother with it if I was you - there are plenty of other sites to keep you going!

Gonna try a few different date formats here and see if one of them works. Hopefully one of them will...

Well I'm giving myself marks for trying. Anyone know why the search function cannot find the (made up) word VIAUG?
