Do you think it makes a difference to your chance of winning if you opt out of receiving further comunications from the comp. companies!?0

I don't think it does. I've even won prizes from filling in surveys when I have completed the minimum required & left half of the survey. I don't think opting out has affected my luck0 -
Hiya all,
I was just wondering if there are any other comp sites you know of that have stuff worth checking out.
The few I found through google had very little on, and what they did have seemed to involve filling in lengthy surveys.
Any ideas?

Welcome to the forum. Have a look on this thread, and you will see what other people think to other comp sites. .http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=477924

I know there are dedicated threads but it can take a lot of time and effort to search. So this index should take people to specific threads and help to reduce duplicates and multiple threads (i.e. having just one thread for Pick Me Up instead of having one for every issue).
This is for regular newspaper (e.g. crossword, SuDoku) and magazine (e.g. take-a-break) answers

I think I would rather keep posting the Real People ones that I post seperately as then you know when the closing date is and in my opinion not as much workWeight Loss - 102lb0

I also think its easier for competitions to be added seperatly...it works for the puzzler competitions as they are all on one site so you can do it collectively£2008 for 2008 member No.4140

I don’t know what anyone else thinks but I as soon I as I see “you have to register to enter” I pull back to the main forum listing page. I must spend ages doing this so I was wondering if it’s a good idea placing something like ‘R’ in the naming/posting title, like
E: 15/9 R
Or has it already been tried/tested/suggested before?:: Comp Challange 2007 = £204 ::
:: Total So Far = £0.00! ::0 -
I think that this was suggested before but wasnt really taken up on. I normally put it at the top of the post whether you have to register or log in and you can see that when you hover over the post. To be honest I think I prefer them the way they are nowWeight Loss - 102lb0

i think that there are a lot of competitions (especially ones with 'better' prizes) where you need to register with the site
what is it that puts you off registering?£2008 for 2008 member No.4140
