    Hiya,

I am new to all the competition entering, and have done loads tonight but filling in the forms takes aaaaaages.

IE autocomplete hardly works on any so have to type details every time.

Can anyone recommend some good software that can fill out the forms for you?

    Thanks so much!
    Ellie

The Google Toolbar has an Autofill feature which will automatically highlight all fields which it can fill with a single click.

I do not recommend that anyone uses a robot filler for bank card details etc.

    Hey, Thrupneybit,

I wasn't criticising anyone, especially not those people that go to the trouble of posting competitions. I *was* suggesting a system that could reduce the amount of time that people who are going to post have to spend searching - apologies if I was insufficiently clear in my original post.

    Strepsy,

Which bit lost you? I'll see if I can express the idea more clearly.

I don't get it, if I search for a post I just type a few keywords in (separately) & also the name of the website. (So I do 3/4 searches sometimes). I used to use google to search but now I just use this sites own search function. I also use * if the word has three or less letters :D

Totally lost:confused:again. I can understand why mark_t posed the search thing but not why it was so complicated. I know I should shut up now but forgive me I'm not going to:D if we all copy the http://jargon.jargon/bithingymajig (url) for each comp site and then pasted that into search won't we end up all singing from the same song sheet?
Why do I stay up so late, my mother told me I would end up in trouble.:o

While we are on the subject would it be a good idea to put in the title if it's an under 16 comp or members only or the like. It would save time and help people sort which ones they want to enter.

Ok enough, I'll just wait for the flak now. Have fun everyone and thanks for being out there. It's kinda nice to know you are. sarer:D

No hurt intended in the making of this post.

    What's happened to my sig?
Used to be in tiny type but now it's bigger!!!
    I haven't knowingly changed anything.

Been back to 'edit sig' - not able to change it back to as it was - unless you know better?!
:grouphug: A smile, a 'please' and a 'thank you' cost nothing
