I have two email addresses my main one and one just for comping.
So any junk or spam I recieve from comping just goes to the comping address.0 -
I prefer to keep things the way they already are.
I smack my own hand occasionally when I bump an older thread, but we're a friendly lot and enjoy a bit of chat on the posts. I, for one, like to say thankyou when someone posts Take a Break or another magazine comp. They've put the work in and I like to say that it's appreciated as well as using the 'Thanks' button.42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot:hello: Good Luck everyone !:hello:0 -
I vote for the "old way" too0

Stranraer's quite good. If you have any problem finding it I'll give you a link.
MSE is the best one around for me, though, and the friendliest.42.7 percent of all statistics are made up on the spot:hello: Good Luck everyone !:hello:0 -
I agree with most of the replies. Registering saves an awful lot of time on the regular comp sites. The only ones I hesitate about registering with are sites that are posted on here for the first time or don't have marketing opt out clauses. From MSE Martin - Some General Tips On Holiday Home Organisations and Sales Meetings
DO NOT TOUCH ANY OF THEM WITH A BARGEPOLE!0 -
Maybe this should be moved to the discussion thread & peeps could have a proper natter about it there.
My 2p worth is that I'm just really grateful for all the work the OPs do. The present system seems to work for most people so I'd stick with it.From MSE Martin - Some General Tips On Holiday Home Organisations and Sales Meetings

To add my two-penneth worth, I think things should stay the same, however, i can understand where the OP is coming from and maybe some people will find it better the OP's way- like the daily play thread for example, but i'll stick to the old way. I don't like change...0

have to say I agree to keep them the old way too as it makes it easier for me when doing the full house & thats life ones to keeps tabs on whats been posted. also as the others have said is nice to recognise the efforts of the OP(and be recognised too:D) by adding a post rather than just hitting the thanks button sometimes.
