Hung third WM load of the day on airer, feel like I have broken the back of the laundry monster today. Kitchen and bathroom S&Sed, resistant bit of black silicone bath sealant covered with bleach-soaked loo roll. LR tidied, all gibble handed to its owners with instructions that if I find it lying around again today, I will be binning it.

Second cider decluttered, third poured. DH asleep, despite having done nothing today bar polishing 4 pairs of shoes. Hope he wakes up sans grump.

Think I might have a look online for an audio book to listen to while I knit, haven't mastered reading and purling at the same time!

  • Well it would seem that the only thing I've managed to do this weekend is accidentally declutter DH :( We've just had a blazing row as I've "done nothing but stare at that laptop all day" (I'm revising for an exam tomorrow) and I couldn't help but flare up at this as he's not exactly been motivational - he's been on the Xbox for hours with a brief respite to put on the dishwashera and move around the DVDs I already sorted.

He's now stormed out (after kicking a bag of ironing I'd carefully folded ready to store) and I can't concentrate on my revision because I can't stop crying like a dimwit. It definitely doesn't help that he's Stoptobering and I'm 7 months pregnant :( I know he'll be back and we'll both have calmed down and things will be okay, but I just feel so overwhelmed with everything at the moment anyway that it's taking very little to start the tears.

    Hi all

    Mumto5 sorry for your loss
CY hugs and strength to you for this week
LW just to echo what others have said, best to get these things checked.

    Today's plan of action:

[STRIKE]Go to the dump when it opens with the old roof from the shed
Clean the inside and outside of the car
Plant 55 () bulbs for the spring
    Dig over bare borders
    Put bark on borders[/STRIKE]
    Complete needle book
    Compare car insurance quotes
    Post letter to dentists

Didn't manage the other 5 bulbs as they grow quite tall and I wasn't sure where to plant them :o

Was absolutely exhausted after doing the garden so have decluttered a sleep.

Now awaiting the results from Strictly

Aww J2A hope he comes home soon and you kiss n make up x

Another man melt-down here too. This one however has an excuse of being an overtired 4 yr old :D bless him. Think they are both asleep now, tis very quiet.

I've got most of my list done only they were both so exhausted I haven't had chance to do their beds, but will do in the morning and get them washed.

I've done the ironing and put away, got clothes out for morning, plus bags - although heaven knows where DDs is perhaps we left it at nursery. I'll do her a spare set of clothes just in case.

DS didn't finish his homework, but he's somehow picked up two lots of one, so had 3 sheets altogether. He's done two and a half so I'm sure they won't be worried. It's all practicing writing so its more that he did a different one rather than we haven't done it at all. And it's quite repetitive - two were the same as last weeks anyway. He's done the new one.

Right, I'm going for a hhc to rehome some bits, wipe down the sofa, swiffer under and generally tidy the kitchen. Anyone with me?

    Thank you FizzWhizz -fascinating.

Many apologies, I've had visitors all weekend and haven't caught up with the thread. Hugs, cutlery or tree trunks to anyone in need.

Having been following the thread for a couple of weeks I realise that, for me, every week is different in when and how much we have no 3 gs and it's difficult to get much done when he's around. I'm going to try following my own schedule and see how that goes. Hope that's OK.

LW - Dj saw the optician cos his eyes kept going funny. They diagnosed a specific type of migraine and sent his to the gP.

GP did tests and said he was pre-diabetic - and gave him 4 sheets of dietary advice.

One year on - no headaches! RESULT!

Please see either the optician or your GP! Promise?

Thanks Deco - hope CY is feeling better after a day of sunshine, I know I am
Mumto5 I had an unexpected email yesterday with details of a plaque commemorating my Grandfather's death in WW2. It's in a little town in Italy where he died and ............. it's in a park that's named after him! I think I have been through almost every possible emotion since reading the email and seeing the photo. Nearly 70 years later, I finally know where he died!

Going to see Dad in after the GP highlights to show him the photo.

    Hugs for all xx
That must be lovely finding that out Frodders

Big hug for you, I hate it when DH and I fall out, which fortunately isn't very often.

I've had a lovely weekend, mixture of jobs, reading, seeing a lovely friend, watching strictly, walk and a picnic in the woods with my family and getting organised for tomorrow whether the supply agencies ring me or not! I don't know if Valli feels this, but I hate wondering if I'm going to be working or not, makes me feel really on edge. I have made a list of what I want to get done this week to try and keep the BD at bay and if work comes, then I will work around it. Hopefully this will work and keep my spirits up!

    My list:
measure bed room blinds, buy velcro and blind cord and try to make new ones - bring machine down into dining room so I don't disturb DH in the office
measure bean bag cubes and make inside covers, buy more filling, make a mess and refill:rotfl:
sort out decorating stuff needed for DD's room and begin the prep
put the new box of carboot stuff in the garage with the rest
    prune raspberries
    paint outside fences
put plants in garden and empty bedding pots
finish top I started a few months ago:eek:
make a cake and some bread
