  • Thank you for lists, and again to everyone for posi-vibes for DD1

This week we are having a Deep Cleaning challenge.. dislodge those spiders.. chase out those bugs and degrot the grotty spaces. This is time-consuming.. so if you can't manage it, it doesn't matter.. but flying just keeps things ticking over and sometimes a better scrubbing is needed..let's see how this goes!

Monday Musings ~ Kitchen and Dining Room
    15 minutes...

    [STRIKE]Clean floors[/STRIKE]
    30 minutes to spare...
    Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces
Sort fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or manky stuff in there!! - fridge is nearly empty here at Skint Ritz so shouldnt be too hard
[STRIKE]Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)[/STRIKE]
    Got an hour...
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..

Extra Mission ~ Choose one or more of:
      [STRIKE]
    • One load of washing[/STRIKE]
    • Empty bin and make it smell nice
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms - DR done
    • Clear and wipe the tops of the wall units!!
    • Clean oven if you didn't do it last week
    • 30 minutes ironing.
    Deep Clean Challenge
Get in that cupboard under the sink and fling everything you don't use.. if it hasn't been used in the last 6 months you don't need it.. fling it!! Give it a GOOD scrub out before replacing the things you do use and need to keep. Feel free to get carried away and do more cupboards!!![/QUOTE]

pigpen Love the drawings. DD has a lot of talent.

See what I can get done this week. At the solicitors Thursday as my will needs redoing. Should have done it after I was ill last year.

Voluntary work today and tomorrow. Still thinking about cutting my hours on a Monday.

Morning, I'm in again, really enjoyed having a tidier house.

Thank you for the list natty, I feel like this list has been made for me, not looking forward to delving in the fridge or the under sink cupboard to be honest, but we'll see what I can get done.

Lovely pics pigpen! Very talented DD!

  • Morning everyone

I am back. I found it really hard last week and today will be a challenge as I have to work at both of my part time jobs plus take DS1 to a doctors appointment but I will do my best!

    Good morning ladies.

I hope to have a couple of hours flying either side of the afternoon. Schiller run. I finish work at 2 so 2-3 and 3.30-4.30 before I start cooking for the hollow legged boys and girls.

The ironing basket was emptied last night - can you see my halo shining!

    Good day wishes for all.

    Morning all.

First things today is the shredding pile. I'm determined to get it gone as one of the boxes has started growing mould! Then I'll get henry out and clean up as I'll no doubt make a mess as usual. I estimate finishing about 10am if I start now. I will get this livingroom decluttered and deep cleaned this week.

HHC now, followed by a coffee. Off I go!
