    Personal challenge update:
Lost another 2½ lb this week despite being away and eating fattening foods. DH lost 3½ lb and was absolutely delighted to be named Slimmer of the Week - after all the pies, pizza and puddings he had scoffed this weekend, he had expected to put weight back on :D

    Flying:
I am sorting out the airing cupboard: have got all the shelves ready and cut to size, filled all the holes in the walls and just need to paint this evening, then I can get stuff put away all nice and neatly. The carpenter has put up all the curtain rail boards and is just finishing the door architrave in the bathroom. I have booked the carpet fitter for a week on Saturday so before then we must empty the downstairs bedroom (i.e. moving boxes and furniture into the lounge) and finish decorating it, choose new wardrobes, put up curtain rail and hang curtains. Doable, I hope!

We spent nearly an hour after lunch trying to find DH's keys. Eventually I discovered them on the seat of a folded director's chair....

Hope you got better news than you were expecting at the hospital, CY.

Well Have been at work all day so have done very little in the way of flying, I managed to tidy and Hoover this morning, buy the house will be like a bomb site by the time I get home as MIL is looking after the babies and they seem to just make sooooo much mess when I'm not there! Would love to do bits when I get home but to be honest I'm just too tired as both babies were up half the night. So I'm going to get home, cook tea. Put babies to bed and go to bed myself. That way hopefully, tomorrow morning I might be fit for something other than sleep

I am in this week but not had chance to post. Did kitchen but not done floor as hoping to get rest of grout out ready for re-grouting (my frog).
Not done much today but just kept up with things. Kids and GKids at mine due to school strike so will do flying tomorrow.
Off to catch up on thread.
Hugs, spoons and chocolate to all who need them. Hope Poppy is doing well.

I'd like to be added to the personal challenge list. I need to practice my saxophone everyday, I have an exam coming up. But it always seems to be the last job on my list, and by the time I'm ready to play, it's too late in the day and I don't want to annoy the neighbors.

i have hoovered under the sofa and tea is cooking now.

this is not flying related... My Dd has just had her first parents evening and she is doing brilliantly i am so happy this time last year she was at a different school (well the nursery part) and they got her in to speech therapy they were trying to get a inclusions persons to help her play with the other children, she even had a psycological assessment which painted her in a terrible light, they were worried she might have issues concentrating they even mentioned ADHD.

When she joined this school they said give her a month to settle and we will assess what she needs. In that month she came on leaps and bounds, she made friends was talking to anyone and everyone. I am so proud.

back to flying.... I also washed my living room blinds that was on my toots list, i still dearnt touch the curtains lol.
