I use firefox and let it store usernames and passwords for all the sites I have to register on to do their competitions.
That way I know very quickly whether I've signed up or not and don't have to remember a load of usernames and passwords!
Hope that helpsComping, freebieing and trying to pay the mortgage off early!0 -

The best way I find to keep on top of the competitions is to subcribe to the competitions time forum
If you go to :
Home » Forums > Bargain Buys, Sassy Shopping and Fantastic Freebies » Competitions Time
Then click on forum tools - subscribe to this thread - select daily updates by email - add subscription
You then get an email just after midnight each day with the previous days competitions, it lists all the new threads at the top and then updated ones at the bottom, I ignore the updated ones and work my way down the list of new threads opening up the ones I want to enter in new tabs
I also click the thanks button and the threads I have visited turn purple in my email so I can easily tell which I have visited and entered
Unfortunately occasionally it doesn't arrive and I don't know whyso you have to look through all the threads yourself
Heres an extract of the one I have received tonight :
Dear littleange_com,

Thanks so much to everyone for all their hard work
Thanks so much for this tip it was great advice. I have noticed though that I don't get the emails on a daily basis. I have checked my subscription and it definitely says 'daily'.
Am I doing something wrong? Every other day I have to sift through all the comps, picking out the ones which were not emailed to me
If anyone can help please let me know. Thanks in advance!Eleventh Heaven No. 321

Yeah, sometimes they don't arrive, I don't know why I think its a problem with MSE as I've signed up to receive them on both mine and my boyfriends log in and if I don't get one, he doesn't either.
Looking at my emails since I subscribed I am missing a few days, I didn't receive them on the 2nd Sept, 1st & 14th & 30th Aug, 11th & 14th & 18-19th & 26-28th July - so thats 11 days since the 7th July!
I will email technical problems and see what they have to say!0 -
Hello!
Am still fairly new to this, started 7th August, but would like tips on how often you all enter competitions which are not "one entry per email" or "one entry per household".
Winning tips would be great please!
Best wishes

i only ever enter once theres more than enough to do without doing everything twice or three times
but thats me0 -
I agree with ginjim. I just wouldn't have the time to enter all the comps more than once and judging by what I have won in less than a month, it doesn't seem necessary. I try to keep the comping as fun as possible and not make it seem like a chore.Eleventh Heaven No. 321

oh another thing if i'm not too sure i have entered before to be on the safe side my wife will enter instead but thats just for safety0

Thanks Ginjim & Jacquie, that's what I'm doing currently, one entry and if I'm not too sure then my husband is doing a few.
Fingers crossed for a wee bit of luck soon.
Best wishes

Don't know if this has been asked before. Would it not be a good idea to start a main thread where people provide details of the where they won their prizes? I only ask as I have been doing comps since the begining of the year and there are some sites where I have entered over 150 competitions and received no reward. If I had confirmation that other people were winning on these sites then I would perservere.#THANKYOUSIRALEX0
