I don't know if this really would be counted as a tip or not, but if you want to get a copy of ROBOFORM, they acccept paypal. When you go through to pay for it put NEVR1 in the discount code box to receive 20% which means if you just get roboform programme on download single licence it would cost you only $23.95 or around £12 at current exchange rates... well aorth the money if your doing plenty of comp's.0

i am new to playing online competitions (only started yesterday!) I have noticed that some competitions have the same prizes event though they are through different websites and different entry questions. am i entering the same competition each time or is it just a coincidence that the prizes are the same? (pls be kind.....I know there is the obvious answer but I just wanted to check!)

They're almost always different comps - they are often linked to a company promoting a specific product, eg, a new book or film, and it's cheap advertising!

to post a competition:
on the main comps page ( http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/forumdisplay.html?f=72 )
click the new thread button
in the title put E: dd/mm (i.e. the expiry date) and then what the comp is to win
then in the main box
put clicky
highlight it
click on the paperclip world icon above teh text box
paste in the www address for the competition
click ok
then further down in the text box put the rest of the comp details including the answer
then submit
and hey presto you should have a comp thread:DWeight Loss - 102lb0 -

Thanks again0 -
Dead easy question, this.
I was just wondering if people have more success, or the same success, entering competitions only posted on the 'Ending tomorrow' type threads? I prefer entering in this way because it's a nice concise list to work through, but I am worried I'll be 'bottom of the pile' as it were.
Does anyone else only use this list and have lots of prizes?
Also: fantastic, fantastic site.Comping wins this month: 2 x business class flights anywhere we like | Horse vitamins (!) | New kettle | Motorcycling prints | Signed LPs | Thanks to all!0 -

Top tip !!! :A Huge thanks for this! Just used the code and it's still working - money well spent considering the time Roboform saves! Wouldn't be without it now! :T"You give a little love and it all comes back to you! La La La La La La La!"Just loving comping and the good guys here!0 -
just a thought dont know if its been mentioned but why not set up a new email address just for the competitions you enter e.g. a new hotmail address. This was any spam is sent here0

When doing the ITV comps, I use a mixture of mouse and keyboard to fill in the form more quickly than by mouse alone.
I get Roboform to do its stuff then use the mouse to click the correct answer (A/B/C/D).
It then takes seven presses of the TAB key to move to the textbox and enter the two security "words". (Or you could use the mouse to move there)
After typing the correct words, I press TAB, SPACE, TAB, TAB, TAB, SPACE and the competition submits. Then I switch back to the mouse to start the process over again. I tend to have the comp entry address in the clipboard so I can past it back into the address bar.
[This was in Firefox but I reckon it should work in other browsers]Many tx to all who post constructively in all the forums!:beer:0
