Another point if you bought the Post It organisor it has the scotch tape inside with the 002677 code on it. I bought 3 organisors and 4 Tape dispensers. Therefore I need to send in the 3 barcodes from the organisors for 3 X £5.00 cards and 4 x Barcodes from the Scotch Tape dispensers ( which is not 002677!) for 2 x £5.00 cards. Should I send in my receipt aswell in case they say it is the wrong barcodes? I am confused!!

I have done that aswell LOL...
You cannot claim a gift card with two barcodes from single roles. You need to send six single role barcodes or two triple pack barcodes. They will not honour it as the barcode was a printing mistake by PC World. You must by the correct products.
So I claimed 7 x £5 back for buying six desk organisers.

Now there's a man who needs to be promoted to manager!

Spent an hour putting together a nice big order for a mere £20, only to discover that to pick up they want me to go to a store 8 miles away and not the huge one less than a mile from me.

    Sigh......oh well.....:o

Just been down to pick up another desk organiser to find that the shelf price label had been removed - Got it scanned and found that they had put it back up to over £12 - ,

Still managed to get a few other bargains (mostly post it notes & pens)

Next time if you don't want a response to an opinion ....don't give it

It's up for sale.....From a shop..... people can buy what they want .If they see an opportunity that others can't then all good to them.
PCworld ,Tesco's or Asda all buy at bargain prices ...in bulk ,and sell on at a profit ..I don't see any diference except in scale...

well said.....I hate whingers.....resellers are doing nothing different than you average shop seller.....

We've just been to the Salisbury store as they have remote control cars for £2.97 and also Kodak camera cases for the same price.
Whilst we were there we noticed the large rolls of bubble wrap for 57p - so grabbed 3 rolls, only to find they went through the till at 87p.
Not a problem though - the manager said someone had removed the incorrect ticket as 57p was for the small rolls, but he honored the price advertised and issued a refund.
Well done PcWorld yet again :T

I spoke to CS at 3M this morning. I was advised that they are aware that the barcodes for the 2 different sizes of canary yellow post-it notes and the sellotape dispenser and rolls are incorrect in the leaflet at PCWorld. They know the correct barcodes and will be honouring claims for the correct codes for the items bought at PCWorld.

I am now off to fill out some claim forms.

dollywops - did you give them the actual barcodes from the products or did they just say that they were aware of the problems?

I put a whole lot of post-it's back yesterday because of the confusion over bar codes and i will go back and get them because the £5 rebate will cover everything else I have bought.
    Regards

The barcodes CS quoted on the sellotape and the large canary yellow post-it notes were the ones that I had. They were unaware that there was also a problem with the packs of square canary yellow post-it notes, but I gave CS the number and he said he would deal with it. He was supposed to ring me back, but has not done so.
